I feel I need to explain canine a little. I originally wanted to clue K9 to evoke justice/courts (the final word) but I was unsure if it was allowed, so I asked pindi and he ruled no. This was a mistake. I would have clued medieval 3 to get angel, court, witch, but mount was the assassin. Electronics went well enough, although I didn't see the part association.

So I began looking at the words late at night, which might have been a mistake, since I didn't have a rigorous plan for how I wanted to give clues. But I saw DWARF and MOON right there, and immediately thought of Charon, moon of dwarf planet Pluto. Then I saw CLOAK on the same row and realized that I had a three. When I was double-checking for any problems, I came across ROW, which I realized would make a fourth.
I then thought that I could clue TRIANGLE-ROW-CLOAK with Toblerone 3 (A row of triangles cloaked in chocolate), except that MOUNT was the assassin, and there's a picture of a mountain on the Toblerone package. So I went with Charon. I realized that COPPER would be a pitfall, but I was willing to risk it, since if I got four even over two turns, I would be in good shape. It helped too that blue team got COPPER in their first clue, to avoid confusion for red team. And they knocked off PART, which I was probably going to pair with MAPLE as Branch 2. So I felt I could be a bit conservative. Azoth followed my logic and psychology perfectly on FAIR. I didn't seee where DP101 was going with Canine, and I thought that both TRAIN and BALL would be pitfalls for blue team, so I felt that I would have four turns total. If red team had been considering CLOAK as the fourth for Charon instead of AGENT, I would have tried to connect LIMOUSINE and MAPLE right there. Instead, what I wanted to do was to leave BALL up for blue team, and knock off CLOAK and LIMOUSINE. I considered Eveningwear 2, but that still got too close to BALL. If i could, then I could have an easy win on Syrup 1 or Tree 1 for MAPLE. But that CLOAK seemed to be the CLOAK of invisibility! Even after red team got it, they didn't seem to realize that it was the fourth for Charon and the second for Posh. Even if they had been looking at a gray word as their next guess for Posh, I might have risked Syrup 1 and let them guess as a plus-one. I didn't know that Dp101 could get ANGEL-COURT-WITCH in one clue, but it was possible that he couldn't. So I had to clue both words, and I had to make CLOAK the primary word. Even if we lost, I wasn't going down without that one being selected. But fortunately I had the connection to MAPLE. The bigger issue, like you said, was that Canine clue. I might have gone for Cross-examine 2 instead, taking in COURT as in courthouse and VET as in "verify background story." Or even something like Computer 3 (TABLET/GENIUS/COPPER), Witness 3 (COURT/BOX/VET), Supernatural 2. Gifting a word to the other team usually isn't a big deal, but getting PART for free might have saved red team a round here. Still, it's all easier to see in hindsight. Good game! We've normally done these as a best of 3. Anyone up for another round?
In for another round for sure, still would prefer not to spymaster.
RE: cluing Dp's words, perhaps something like Devil, Satan, or Lucifer? He's an Angel, a lawyer, and supernatural.
