I thought Pitbosses were all doing RtR now.
What else are they doing that you want to stop doing and go back to "standard"?

The new Pitboss game getting started right now (once Tasunke gets the map sorted out) is a Medieval game with something weird about barbarian holy cities, for example. I don't think Krill was suggesting people stop doing other stuff though; he was just suggesting that someone post a "Hey, who's in for a new Pitboss game?" and see what happens.

Yeah, in general the later-era starts have been base BTS since we don't know how the balancing goes.
While I'm here, I still want to run that modern-era game with the growth curve of a normal game I envisioned eventually, but I need to work on the mod to do so and I have no clue when/if that will happen.

That sounds interesting, I'd be happy to help with the modding to make that happen if you have specific ideas in mind. I'd also be interested in hosting a modded game, but it would probably only end up inflicting pain and suffering on everyone involved :3

I like the late era games. I used to love future era teamers, and it's good to see the format take off here now. But anc FFA games are still fun to play because in the right circumstances and settings they aren't stressful, complicated things for people that lack the time to indulge in those games.
