We got lucky with the mission for the CS, it is actually doable! Oledavy scouts my capital, not much I want/can do atm.
And Germany is building an encampment in my direction and in the desert. Smart.
Not so smart, buying the horses which must have been rather expensive. A bit early for such a move and a non-improved tile for some turns I imagine.

We may well conquer that city in about the same timeframe as we settle a Coast
Promoted singer is bad news, means Eureka for Archery for him. I would definitely hold off settling there, and actually think about rescuing your own slinger, feels increasingly vulnerable.
And we will also plonk down an encampemt very soon, won't actually build it just yet though, keeps the cost fixed at time of placement.

Yeah, I definetly want to retreat, but I was a fairly certain I wanted to fogbust those tiles.

Shortly before our slinger runs away we see, another promoted slinger and warrior, the encampment is under construction and a 2nd builder. Definetly not a quick settler over there.
I also encounter Hattusa, which seems to have met a german scout sometime in the past.

Together with mil tradition strategos and our BW beeline, I should be able to beat the others to Sun Tzu. I think 1-2 slingers or warriors later and then an encampment.

I am quite happy that I listened to my little toe and built that warrior regardless of how quickly I wanted that settler.
Barbarians popped up all of the sudden, I am pretty sure I was not scouted.
Forgot to take a screenie, in any case Singaboy seems very aggressive towards me, fortifying his warrior in sight of my capital.

Holy Markerel Batman, so many barbarians all of the sudden. Nothing is in immeadite danger, maybe a plundered mine, but we are definetly forced on Jade Dot.
Yeah. And I also nearly missed that. If I am not mistaken, that is oledavy´s second city, that was not there before. What is happening on this map.

Settler out next turn, going for a slinger next to hopefully boost Archery soon.
Reporting is easier with a minimal audience.

Settler is enroute to Jade Dot, Strategos is enacted from now on.
I am considering an encampment in the two locations. The more I think about it the more I think that Singas encampment is a defensive one, but a good one at that.
Everyone else has a second city except Singaboy and me, but I will have one in 3 turns. In 7 turns I will use foreign trade to switch out God King, we will have to do without Urban Planning shortly.
And those barbarians are annoying, else I would have settled Lake Dot, with its Iron..

Hmm, on another note, I was rather throughouly shafted on CS on this map, I am rather curious if I was expected to explore north into the jungle first, both oledavy and Singa have a scientific city state over me and oledavy has an iron now.
With Strategos in force now, my only chance is an encampment and a rather brutal attack on Singaboy or Oledavy. Both settled into my direction.
