First of all, congratulations on thoroughly outplaying me in yet another game. I know how frustrating and stressful it can be to fight against the whole world, so sorry for adding to your stress with tech thread drama.

Two brief explanations, not meant to add to your stress:

1. I agree that the game is all about maximizing abuse of the game features. Not the same thing as exploiting a bug. Your mileage obviously may vary.

2. With tech visibility thanks to Trade, it was pretty clear to me that you were going to do exactly what you're doing, so I figured I might as well attack as sit in my cities waiting for the end. Providing your adepts with XP fodder wasn't really part of the plan...
