Haven't counted exactly and actually I don't know how to do that. Now that he has 20% culture there he is getting ground fast, but I'll get my capital to 60% soon so that should slow the progress a bit. Wild guess it happens in ~20 turns.

I got a message from Slaze and currently he thinks we're the target of Nakor/Whosit based on the fact that Whosit has looked quite friendly towards him.

I settled yet another city and decided to move our potential 4th city in the island inland. It utilises all the land tiles and sea food is already utilised by other cities. I'm lightly concerned that Whosit settles above the wine in the island. He has galley close by.

Nice screenies! It seems the settling plan has moved along nicely... Nice to see your 10 point gpt jump in the last 2 turns. smile

If you don't mind the prying, how are you feeling about the game generally at the moment?

I've given some thought about our next tech. It might be wisest to go for Feudalism instead of Machinery. We already have decent units to handle melee units up to maces and I doubt that we've much chances on attacking whereas we've lot of coastal cities that we need to protect from amphibious landings. Where Longbows work better than crossbows and are cheaper.

Furthermore I'm still not sure, if we should settle on inland or coastal city in the island. Inland city would be easier to defend and utilises both wine tiles, but we would lose 2 trade routes

Any opinions?

Our position is quite weak and I'm quite concerned that we'll get dogpiled within next 30 turns. All of our neighbours are Rebels and 3 of them are quite powerful (either in tech or military). I'll still plan on playing it nice towards all the others except Whosit, but that might not be enough.

After discussing with broker I decided to go for Feudalism and plant the city on coast. This will be our last city for quite some time.

Feudalism is coming in 2 turns. The latest city founded was pretty expensive so our expenses start to be quite high.

We're still last in soldiers, but it will soon change. Kathlete's power is alarmingly high. Jowy gifted him the unlucky stack of Praets that didn't get a chance to fight against India.

Do you have the Moai somewhere, or are you planning it.
I am surprise to see the stone still not improved as they would be greater than any tiles your 'stone' city is working.

Borders have just popped in Nampo so improving wasn't possible earlier. I don't have the patience to micro manage my workers to be always on optimal position. In this case worker was finishing chop before it was free to move to make a Quarry although it probably would have been better to build road towards stone while waiting for border pop. However I'm not gonna lose much even if Quarry is delayed few turns from optimal timing. I can utilise the Corn and grassland farm to grow the city to size 3 before starting to utilise Stone that I would probably done even if I had the Quarry ready.

I've also delayed Moai to get Stone hooked up before starting it. I don't know what would be best place for it. Maybe Hyangsan.

Ulsan is probably a good candidat, it will have 2 forrests to chop, have 14 sea titles and have almost no land tiles that are better than a see tile smile (ie no cottage grass, no land ressource except plain-wines...)
