Quick is fine.

If the map is going to be islands then Dutch/Vikings/Portugal should be removed from the available civs, imo.

That seems like a reasonable ban list. We should also definitely include the great lighthouse as a no go.

I would not prefer a PB. OSX players have to use a windows client or a wine emulator to play BTS PB games.

Just needed about 14 hours of sleep apparently. Caught some kind of bug Thursday/Friday that I didn't shake until I slept most of Saturday away.

Anyway, map thread has been created and I'll direct any lurkers there to save us all from my overly-ambitious plans tongue

Just to give an update....

I have a draft of the map done and am asking lurkers for input.  Hopefully we can get that process finished in the next couple of evenings and can get this game starting soon. thumbsup

My most reliable window is still 2300-0100 UK time, but I mostly work from home these days, so often can play throughout the day (UK day that is)

Yeah, I'm not sure if you guys are waiting on me, but the map is probably 98% done. Did you want screenshots of the starting BFCs before picking?
