I am too tired to update pic boxes but heres the updates.
About the settle 11th city next turn and 12th city in 3 turns. My economy is so bad and I am ruining it even more. However, no one so far has more than 9 cities, and it's really time to test whether going wide beats tall in this case. Going to build libraries in food rich cities and work scientists to get out of this jam. Khan's power is spiking super high but Thoth has been flat. It could be that Khan is just making basic defenders since while my power is high, most border cities only have an axe and spear. Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin
I could only afford to plant these cities because of the TGL.
Also I have a confession to make, I am actually warming up to civ 6 despite all its flaws... Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin
Updated pics to current turn.
Well that was stupid. Should have planted Ruins on the 3rd ring city with clams. No way to fight Thoth over the culture so going straight to 3rd ring city with far fish. Also looking to expand to the west while not going bankrupt since the land there seems to be a higher quality. Busting a barb city got me 90 gold. If I can find 10 more of those, I can get back to tech parity quickly. Dont have a lot of time so quick walkthrough of city names Ruins: After you unlock them, you cant build any improvements on the ruins tiles and the archaelogist takes wayyyy to long to build Iron: I noticed that missing strategic resources are a big problem with the map scripts and iron is the biggest offender imo since you are likely going to need it in the early game when most of the combat happens. Warmongers: I don't like how there is close to 0 diplomacy in the SP games because of the warmonger penalty except for the rare occasions when you are ganging up on an AI with another AI player. Just read the civfanatics GOTM reports. They always ask, how was diplomacy and most of the answers are none because of warmonger penalty Seoul: Korea was a major civ in 4 and 5. But in 6 its just a city state?! Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin
Updated pictures to current turn T77.
Anti-Cavalry: Why in the world don't these units get any multiplier policy cards?! Now to the civ4 game, I am not in a good situation. Thoth blocked my clam city so had to settle an exposed border city. Khan already scouted it so more spearmen are needed over there. Auro is also hemming me in to the West. The city that can work the rice should have been planted now, but couldnt because of the whole going bankrupt thing. Still have some land available to SW. Surprised Colossus has not fallen yet... I put all my chips in the pot and started MC research. Looks like 1 other played already researched it but I dont see any built forges.
T81 MC complete and 1 whip housing 8->7 T82 Overflow 11+5 hammers to forge in housing T83 Intentionally not work horse to maximize overflow T84 4 whip forge in housing 8->4 T85 build colossus with 3 chops Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin

Updated pic to the current turn of T84 but I fear that this might be the last turn of the game.
My recap of the current situation. I am very behind to Khan who has the best chance of winning this game because he is ahead of me in expansion now (14 cities vs 12) and tech. Thoth has wonders and good tech but behind in expansion (12 v 10 cities) and doesn't seem to be interested in expanding or raising a huge military. Aurocher is ahead of me in expansion (13 v 12 cities) and tech but doesnt have that much pop. Dhalp only has 7 cities and likely Khan will eat him as the game progresses even though military expansion should not be a priority with the huge amount of land. To counter Khan's eventual conquest, my only option to get ahead is to conquer Thoth, which will be very tricky since I am behind tech. Plans to catchup are setting the 3 island cities, currency, and courthouses. Priority in established cities to grow all cities to their happy cap, 3 whip forges and then 3 whip courthouses. Capital and movement will have to whip out more settlers. I am expecting Thoth to attack first so I would need defenses on my borders which will be spears behind walls. I think they can get guerrilla 2 due to the UB and if so, they should be 14 str against knights. Of course would need catapults at my 4 border cities with Thoth and some HA if he brings cats along as well. Youtube Channel Twitch aka Mistoltin
