OK so the prospect of potential further settling sites and an early luxury are influencing your decision here. As the Horse city is out of the picture I assume its priority dropped down to maximum 6th city?

This leads me to start thinking about strategic resources, as this is an island map, it is unlikely that we will be subject to an early rush or rush ourselves early. I assume based on this you decided to forego the horse city for the moment, correct?

Oh no horse city is the next one. Then fur city. Or do you think the other way around is better ?

So I've thought about it and for logistical reasons the next city is going to be on the 2 spot. The galley will come out of the cap so it would take too long to send it around to the west. But the settler after that will come from the west, and I'll send it to the 3 spot. As you may have noticed in yesterday's screenshot the second city finished its monument, so there'll be at least some fish for that western city to grow.

Oh and do you have any idea for a city naming theme ? I don't really want to keep the normal Indian names.

Going for the horse city was what I expected, I assumed your numbering scheme included the capital as on the screenshot was no number 2 and thus thought you would prioritize the furs city.
The current settling plan looks good, especially considering your point about the galleys origin and the settlers positions.

In regard to the naming scheme, here is a list of officers from the French East India Company, what do you think about that for the naming scheme?

I forgot to change the names this turn, I'll try to remember next time.

Two important news today, first with Buddhism being founded by someone (nor great news, but we can still aim for hinduism). Second with the appearance of a barb city on the island nearby. Which complicates things. I think I'll make a small chariot army to take care of it once the horses are in from the third city.

Sadly we have to raze it if we want to settle the indicated spot for the 3rd city, how many Chariots do you plan to build for that purpose?

I'll send the galley to take a look at what's in there ASAP to know how many units are needed. It's possible that there are only two warriors waiting for us in there

I've thought about it some more and I think it could be a good idea to keep the barb city if it has enough food around it. Settlers aren't cheap, so even if it means changing the dotmap a little it might be worth it.
