I'm pretty sure Korea only survived because of Whoisits magnanimity. If Whoisit hadn't pulled the bunch I don't think they ever could have survived. The distraction of sending all those praetorians around to Spulla also helped Whoisit not push for another round of smack down.

That said, I really want Korea to come back and do something awesome. Like raze Kathlete's capital during the Inca war. They may be planning to harass Whoisit, but I can't see that they have really built up enough units to be able to do a major offensive action. The best thing I can think for them to do is make enough show of force to stall the Incan war.

They already have Currency but they want to bulb CS with the GMerchant and for that they have to remove Alphabet.

Out of Athlete's various questions:

1) Revolting for civic changes. How does it calculate how many turns it takes? Does it depend on the civics I'm revolting to?

2) What's the easiest way for me to calculate whether Vasalage would be more beneficial then Beaurocracy?

3) I'm assuming this would get answered in #2 but if not can somebody please explain how Vassalage works and how the free units save me money?

4) During my involvement in PBEM #1 there was an RB Event that ended up generating a lot of discussion between Courthouses and Banks and their resepective benefits. T-Hawk even wrote a top-notch article on it I believe. My basic understanding of this article was that to maximize the benefit of a bank (with binary research) you wanted higher costs so building a courthouse would take away from the benefit of the bank.
a) Is my understanding of that correct?
b) If so does that mean if I plan on building a bank in a city should I not build a courthouse?
c) Or even if my understanding is correct in the overall picutre of my civ is it still better to build both as the economical benefits of a courthouse (ignore espionage benefits for now) are still very good and when combined with a bank will only enhance the city's output even further? Does that make sense?

It seems to me that 1, 3, 4a are probably fair game for lurker answers, but 2, 4b, 4c look over the line IMO - they come too close to "advise me on what civics to choose and infrastructure to build". (In particular, the former seem to fall under point 1 of the lurker code, while the latter would be 3b.)

What do others think?

So when The Big War starts, how are they gonna figure out who gets to go when? For example, if Spullla fight Jowy and only Jowy, while Kathlete and Whosit fight Slaze, will Spullla have to go in the same time frame as Slaze, or will they be independent?
