As you can see, I am doing a really good job of crashing my economy by expansion. Let's see if I can rescue it with 4->2 courthouse whips but almost all of these island cities need a monument, granary, and lighthouse first... I will attack yuris with 2 galleys of units, seize the ivory island and then try to make peace. This short war hopefully should be a cover for the big attack on commodore with 4 galleys of units. Now can I see why the viking's team in PB30 when on their rampage. The sight of these undefended lands make me angry right now. I did offer gold for gem to ipecac, something I should have done 10 turns ago and hopefully I can have peace on that side.

Yes, if you want to connect the resource, you need a route (road or river) on its tile as well as the fort itself.

Planning on declaring on yuris on T85 but depending on what's in that galley, it might be too late. The earliest I can feasibly declare on Commodore is on T87 when Toulouse pops borders but likely later when the new triremes can catchup. Mids will be done on T85 and I hope it doesn't get sniped. Flustered that Marble is nowhere to be found. Maybe is on an astro island? Tech after calendar is Poly->Mono->Christianity->Monarchy->Feudalism with the goal of adopting Vassalage at end of 1st Golden Age. Then compass and engineering to build harbor and castles in all cities for easy money. Should I attempt to generate a GS for Astro? Even if I get mids, won't be able to adopt Representation for a while since I need to focus on the war efforts.

Look far away my ivory island is from my capital. Yuri's city is a huge pink spot and I will take it next turn unless he gets another defender in there. There where still only 2 warriors but he whipped a library! I should have mids next turn also, and plan is to build MOM at capital unless Commodore is focusing that instead of mids. Building more chariots in light of Comm's defenses.

Ok attack on Commodore is off. Started on contigency plan that mainly revolves around landing MOM at capital. Diverted hammers there from units to a forge. The other annoying part is that now I have to make a lot of units/navy for those waters. For now I am sending all the units I built to yuris.



I am annoyed because I lost a 88% and 77% battle to take this city so I am only defending with the chariot this turn. I can get 2 archers in there next turn but going to be very anxious as to see if he takes this city next turn. At least I got enough conquest gold to 1 turn Calendar. But do i actually go for HA next to have something against the longbows?



At least I got the mids and no one gained any fail gold EOT.
