Reinforced the city with 2 archers through boat hopping. I can attack Massawa next turn with 2 CR1 Axes but I really don't think I will keep the city if I am successful considering my expenses are skyrocketing especially with the new city I founded. Am I really building 3 more settlers?! The chariot can land next to the sugar city and threaten it next turn.



Looks like AI is going to claim the ivory city and his galley with the warrior is being super annoying. Good thing I can put an archer into Bordeaux in time.



I messed up because the overflow research should have been in Poly.









Can't tell if Commodore is being paranoid or if he is planning something... Did see that he suddenly had a lot of gold which means I probably beat him to the mids by a few turns. Bad news is that he can power to knights with that gold! I think now I need a massive navy to counter him.

With an axe and spear on the island, decided to go for peace. Would have been nice to raze that city as well but I felt that I had to attack while Hawulti only had 2 warriors. If only I did not lose 2 axes... Do need to build libraries in those border cities ASAP. Ferried an archer to Toulouse to make an attack very not worth it, and luckly got a religion in there for culture.

I really hope Commodore did not get that GS. Still need to build MOM first for my GA. Do need to start whipping libraries now to increase GNP.

I am running 2 scientists in the capital even taking a food loss because I really want to have the GS born EOT97 when I should complete the MOM. Commodore is obviously ignoring it. The real threat I think is Yuris who might be pursuing the music artist at the same time. Will plant city #24 on T96 and that will the end of peaceful expansion until I can reach the astro islands. Argh those caravels are so stressful but I hope that Commodore is not ignoring ipecac's power. Wanted to hookup wine first during GA but I guess head to optics 1st. Do I need to note that I will wait to adopt representation at the GA since the happiness now is a non-issue and I am slaving out a lot of infrastructure. Really wish I can build harbors and castles in peace but I forsee a lot of shipped slaved out.

Got save someone took Christianity. I am holding the save because I could use some help. To bulb astronomy, it seems that you actually cant research theology or civil service since then the Gscientist priority is paper->edu. Am I reading this right? I have actually a lot of beaker overflow (can 1 turn machinery at 0%) so I will try to get Daoism before starting GA.

Now that I look at the logs, Commodore got Christianity? He only got 1 GS also. Did he not realize that he cut off the Astro bulb or does he want to make a play for lib? Wonder why he and AI decided to stay in caste, since due to lack of hammers, you need slavery to build units and infra.

I need Avignon at 9 and Rouen at 10 so they can generate GSs first. Amiens at size 11 will starve for the GM. Definitely get optics first and use one of the GS to clear most of astronomy? or lib astronomy myself? Decisions decisions.

sorry for not updating but Commodore got astro last turn with a big power spike. I might have to do that cvi6 thing and upgrade some archers into LB and galleys to galleons when I bulb astro myself.

Spent a lot of gold upgrading archers in the front to LBs and will need to save up to upgrade 6 galleys to Galleons...
