Turns out it's only the index page I can't access for some reason. Direct link works. But yeah, my HDD died (I hope it's actually the controller), so please stand by.

So, the laptop had to be given in for a wholesale refurbishment, they've now replaced a bridge and the drive. I should have it back soon.

Finally sent the turn on. The replacement HDD also died, but I am back at my desktop. Really puzzled at what's happening, everything to do with the HDD was replaced, BIOS was flashed, if there is some persistent virus, it has to be one of the most resilient ones in history of mankind.
