I modified the starting location script to start us on approximately opposite sides of the Pangea (and guarantee a fresh water start) so we should have a much better game.

Somehow I doubt we will go past the classical age again, we might be better off with a small map, continents and AIs to keep us busy, that way we would see past the classical perhaps.:D

Yeah, I can´t play without CQUI anymore, it makes stuff a lot easier.

Sure, we can try a larger map for the next one. We'll need a map maker to make sure we start on separate continents. Really the only thing a map maker would need to do is assign the player and city state starting locations and do a quick check. The current game still feels like it has plenty of life left in it though for now, we only met 15 turns ago!

I'm not sure how AI's would work as far as balance is concerned. I'm afraid it would be a contest to see who could overcome the AI on their continent quickest. If it was just a few more city states sprinkled in it might make for a decent game. Slower in the early stages since we wouldn't have as much interaction, but more interesting later-game. We could increase the difficulty to Deity so that the city states put up a better defense and aren't essentially free cities. I don't think that barbs are affected much by the difficulty setting ... at least the Deity "Rome vs. Barbarians" epic didn't have many barbarians. Did you have any thoughts on the geography of the map other than separate starting continents? I do think it would be interesting to try a duel on a Small sized continents map (maybe have a 3rd continent for off-shore interaction other than our core starting continent).

Just to be clear, I'm not looking to start another game until this one finishes. Just putting thoughts out there to get the conversation started.
