Probably out of scope for this game, but worth considering.
How hard would it be to change when resource availability is evaluated?

Split it into 2 parts. Resource connection is evaluated as normal. But only check for disconnects at the very beginning of the turn.
The flavor is "you still had some uranium/horses/whatever in the warehouse, enough to get through the turn roll."

Then anyone can hook a resource and get a single turn out of it. If you want to deny, you have to keep the workers away.

Im in favor of having more diplo... but i know im in the minority.

Map trading. I did like in PB18 that it was off à Exploring phase lasted longer. I don’t know how others felt.

We could just move enabling map trading back to Paper, vanilla-BtS-style.  smile

I don't know if that applies to pitboss, but it's worth a try...

I'll add these though I think they are standard now:

--no unit gifting
--no unit naming for diplo purposes
--no city gifting or trading. In addition to this, recent games have had cities blocked from being available for trade, which also eliminates locational diplo for war alliance requests.

I haven't really checked the forums for the last few days because a highly unexpected family emergency has come up, and it means I'm going to have to travel for the majority of January and February next year (taking care of young nephews and niece, hooray!). Unfortunately I'm going to have to drop out of this one, and I hope the map hasn't already been made. Particular apologies to Chumchu who I was going to play with as a teammate. Hopefully if there's a repeat of this game somewhere down the line I can play in that one instead.

Does anyone else want a dedlurker? Naufrager, Superdeth.? Otherwise I'll go general.
