Hmmm, looking at district placement.
The aqueduct is not a specialty district, but does it contribute to adjacency bonuses to other districts?

Also, how much housing would an aqueduct give in EF?

Some quick research suggests:
- An Aqueduct should count as a district for adjacency purposes.
- If Equus Ferrous is already on fresh water, an Aqueduct should give it +2 housing; otherwise, it would bring the city's base housing (after coastal access if any, but before any other buildings or tile improvements like farms are figured in) up to 6 from wherever it started.
- If someone who actually has the game or knows about this stuff can check it, their answers would be more definitive and/or accurate.
- If you just want a distraction from relatives, you could always bang your head against the PB38 map design some more, right?

Regarding the aqueduct:
- it will provide 3 housing to EF upon completion. FWIW you'd get the same amount of housing from a plantation on the citrus, a pasture on the horse and building a Granary for 65 ![Icon_Production Icon_Production](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/Civ6Icons/Icon_Production.png) and the Granary will also provide 1 ![Icon_Food Icon_Food](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/Civ6Icons/Icon_Food.png) per turn as well. What's an aqueduct currently cost?
- I don't think it provides adjacency bonuses. A PDF district guide I have indicates that it does not.
- keep in mind that the aqueduct won't count against the district population limit of the city.

The granary finishes next turn, the pasture the turn after that.
I've read conflicting accounts regarding the aqueduct, and pack the experience to know the game. I'm not sure if I'll build the aqueduct in EF if it only gives 3 housing, need to work out immediate needs. I'm currently working out plans for civics swaps and card usage but I might be able to nab mids with two boat production boosted chops.

The aqueduct counts towards other districts' "+1 yield per two adjacent districts" effect, but does not get adjacency bonuses itself, much like the city center.

Kandy is a bitch to crack, because got to cram all the units through a single tile. However, interesting developments: killed a warrior with a hoplite for the 150 beaker eureka for military tactics, and Jester offered straight peace. He has also put an encampment from his capital on the tile 69 of his third city, so I'm thinking I'm likely to reoffer peace after I take Kandy and then try to 3 turn Mids at EF via overflow production with the naval production card, to also get the two galleys for one of the naval eurekas. That way I can build two or three builders before Fuedalism to hook double wines, 4 resources at the two city locations to the NW, and farm the wheat at CS for the Fuedalism inspiration and mine two more tiles for the Apprenticeship eureka (which is where I'm heading after Construction).
Civics wise, I'm hoping to get DaP close to completion, then finish GaR, for the Mids and builders play, and then use DaP to swap out of Iikum and the naval production card after Mids and the few builders are completed, into a combination of a production card (because of the boost to harvests it gives) and probably back into Caravansaries.
