What's the Krill win strategy?
[SPOILERS] How do you make this thing work: Krill randomly mashes some buttons

Pin doesn't give DoF to Al. We both cripple Kumasi and Zanzibar to slow him down. Al goes.for Jester anyway who tends him off by takes losses. Pin goes for Al whilst I go for Jester in 30 odd turns and I gain a large advantage, finally piling into Al and coming out on top.
The problem is all of the win conditions aren't straight forward. Pin doesn't have one this easy, and Al is in a weaker position than I am, behind in culture with no solid culture production
A question if you don't mind, Krill. You seemed surprised by the shared vision granted by alliances. Was that a pleasant surprise or would you have done things differently had you known ahead of time?
I'd still have gone with it. This game is a 3 player game in the sense that only one of Pin Al or myself are going to win, even if there are complexities (It's a 4 player game in the sense that Al and I have expansion opportunities through a weakened fourth party which Pin lacks).
Because of this, Al and I are the most similar, Pin is the exception. The 3 player view of the game requires that I ensure I am not 2v1'd, so I need to find an ally in Pin or Al, and the 4 player view of Jester as food is that both Al and I are competing for that food. So I want to ally with Pin against Al, I want to make Al seem like a viable expansion target to Pin, a better option than myself (he already has the continent bonus to that end). I need Al weakened, but not so weakened that Pin thinks Al is not a threat and that I am, so he targets me and lets Al grow at Jesters expense. That is one reason why the DoF with Jester is important: I am not a threat to Jester so Pin giving me peace does not just let me eat Jester, but Al is. Al also has his UU up with a GG, so he should appear to be a major threat, along with Jesuit education to ensure he keeps up in science easily. I'm just going to use sheer bloody mindedness and a much better gold rate. That Al is easily crippled by removing suzerainity to Zanzibar and Kumasi just makes it more interesting: I have a level of control there that Pin lacks. Update tomorrow, but expecting a few pillaged tiles unless that caravel ends turn on dumb tiles. Probably have to upgrade the galley so need PA which affects card options. And can't upgrade for a few turns as need the gold to buy tiles.
