nothing exciting happening, settling cities, keep defense up, falling so far behind in everything.. cant wait to see who wants to TRY and make me food.
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

to avoid dropping off the front page.. still nothing major happening, sent some fish for fish kinda deals around to at least attempt to not get dog piled on.. got a worker roading my copper because i JUST NOW realize how big a threat chariots would be.. teching masonry for walls in border cities, and building archers in the potential targets. ( going to keep spears in border cities, and at least 1 or 2 between cities going forward..

nothing interesting happening yet. my 1 city working 2 scientists is pushing me upto 4-5th place GNP which i dont think is terrible.. im doing ok-bad at production/crop yield. but im in the top 6 or so for population. currently building a round of archers for the outskirt cities, got one city making a settler every 6 turns or so, and another making a couple workers because im working unimproved tiles and thats just sad.. i expect to settle a city on my western border with BGN/rusten soon, and then galley a settler to one of the islands to my south. Im going to keep border patrol with my DS's on my northern front to make sure those whips from dtay are graneries/infrastructure instead of chariots or worse.

Situation update- Looks like everyone around me, besides BGN/Dreylin seems to be a top military/production/food leader.. focus has shifted to snagging the cities that i havent yet lost.. ( im really kinda peeved that both of my neighbors got island cities to my south faster than i could reasonably get to them..) and focusing on getting some spearmen/archers in outskirt cities, while also not leaving the inner cities free to be ran over.. Cant say i like my position, although im sure someone like TBS/ect could have done loads better in my position.....
i hate to gripe, but man does it feel like my start was just screwed from the beginning. CFC's rusten, Dtay, TBS.. man this is rough. ONLY surviving hope is that they eat each other, Dtay attacks dreylin/BGN and i can come rescue... TBS gets attacked by commodore... ( not likely since i ate one of his settlers like a retard. ) Rusten bites off more than he can chew with Mack.... Anything to get me out of this shithole that ive dug myself into... lol

Well someone is trying to catch me unawares.. lost 1 warrior so far. and now im in a turn split. ( logged in to take screenshots. ) i have the first half of the turn, Rusten has the 2nd. i have 3 chariots popping next turn, and 2 spear's. got archers working in my border cities, and keeping my TBS/Dtay border protected because god forbid, if i don't end up dog-piled i will donate 5$ to Realms Beyond's operating expenses. walls are going to be whip-able in the next turn or two in border cities if its needed... i don't expect Rusten to have ONLY his 2 chariots and a spear, fairly sure he could/should have HBR... so a round of spears was already in production before he decided to put my non-winning position that i was trying to salvage into the blender..
Who knows, maybe he was just trying to snipe my worker, and then burn down that city? kind of an ass thing to do considering this has got to be closer to me, than him, hell, id count it as the mid-way point of me and BGN. Oh well, unless he has an overwhelming amount of Horse archers, or TBS/Dtay jump in.. i don't see myself losing more than 1 city tops. Also makes the push to longbows that much more appetizing..
In other news, was going to put an academy into the cap, but figured at the time, that war with Rusten would need production, yesterday, so popped a GA.
Current battlefield, although im keeping watch for anything coming out of his island, or TBS's island... ( saw a galley of TBS's in a naughty spot. )

Turn 91-
if i had been smart, and even been thinking about throwing a GA down, i would have saved some gold.. food for thought for later.. Tech path is a painful one, currency-straight to Lbows. From reading threads, seems Dtay is a fan of rushing to knights then storming everything.. and he has enough goddamn cities to do it..
City that Rusten declared on is safe for the time being, got way too many defenders for him to try anything short of Horse archers on. If he has a galley to boat one of my coastal cities, THIS TURN, then congrats your plan worked out well .. otherwise he better have a lot of boats next turn, because he isnt taking anything next turn...heh. hoping mack/someone on another side of rusten smells the war and goes for his blood.

Your move Rusten
small note- if this was all just a ploy for me to burn population on production, instead of Gnp to make me fall behind.... im already far behind buddy, this is just making me go full hog towards some military tech for you

Turn 92- i spy a galley!
My prediction that there would be an attempted coastal raid on one of my cities has came true. Although i wont know if he goes straight from galley to city, or unloads units first until after he moves,.. i can make some guesses.
I really had hoped to survive my first PB on here, and to kind of make it a "thing" where i just dont die in these games.. but we shall see. I make up in defense, what i lack in civ skill.... usually.

Turn 93-
Aretas bit the bullet, Rusten made peace with TBS for im guessing a 10 turn window to ravage me... and i founded another city in between me/dtay/BGN which im sure is going to cause problems. this brings me upto 8 cities, which is where people like Dtay, TBS, Mack ect were at like 40 turns ago..
finally... my production is looking great!......... in a golden age..... and still not top 3..
