It seems slaze is now playing with Athlete and has ditched India. Good news is that Athlete is giving up Whosit and Slaze is continuing his attack. However there is big risk that also slaze and whosit find it more beneficial to concentrate on India instead of each other. 1st desicion is between slaze and India. We might had to pick our side since being in between might not work.
2nd desicion concerns our next tech. We've enough gold to run for Engineering/Optics or Guilds. The next tech should be guilds or Engineering, if we want to continue aggression on land and maybe tie ourselves more to Slaze. If we go towards india, Optics would make more sense. In that case we would had to be prepared for Athletes fleet to pay a visit.
well this could get intresting, some peoples wish of a all vs india may come true, although i wonder what Korea would really get out of swapping sides now tbh, if i was in their position i would most likely keep on-side with India and hope 1 or 2 breaks go my way and get a foothold on the mainland and work from there.

Just because we don't know for certain whether Athlete meant to put that in the IT thread doesn't mean we should be suggesting the possibility that Athlete might be thinking three steps ahead with this one. That question is really too leading, and might be suggesting the wrong thing. This moment is too important to risk lurker tampering.
It is worth remembering Athlete has used the IT thread before to deceive his opponents.

About Korea even *considering* turning on India:
Personally speaking, if I were in their position, I would never consider that.
They have very little chance of winning the game. That was basically decided very early on when the praetorians knocked their doors. So if I were in their position, I'd be looking at a 2nd place win personally. Coming back from suffering an early praet rush to a 2nd place finish is a victory in itself, imho. And what's the best way to cruise to a 2nd place finish? Stick to the likeliest 1st finisher, India.
Anyone agrees/disagrees with that point of view?

One problem: Civ doesn't really have a second place. You either win or you don't; just building a strong civilization can be rewarding enough for some players, so you aren't necessarily a loser if you haven't secured victory by the time the game ends, but unless you're playing with Permanent Alliances, there's only one official winner.

So what do you Slaze? I think he deserves respect for doing a major turn and not staying 'us vs. them' mode.
If Slazes actions are "despicable" I would hate to see Spulla talk about the CDG RoP rape against GCA (theses sites are both defunct). Alleged cheaters would be much worse. No wonder did he comment against them!

Sullla's thread brings up an interesting point: How will he try to win the game?
Conquest:
He'd have to kill Korea to do it. So, no.
Domination:
That's a lot of captured cities that he'd have to keep, but viable. I get the feeling they'll slowly grow over time, by the sword, mostly.
Diplomatic (UN):
Plako voting for them, after they grow in pop; won't require quite as much land, they'd still need to get to 30 Sushi cities or something like that.
Diplo (Religious):
Somehow, I don't see this one really happening; spreading a religion to opponents you're at war at? Who will might be running Theo anyways?
Culture:
Convert the NE city post-Bio into a GA farm (NP won't be that useful: will any site have more than 3-4 forests?), knock out or capture the still-unbuilt Sistine, and found the culture corps. A few cathedrals per culture city, and Hermitage; they'd have to take Free Speech over Nationhood, though. My guess is this could be done by T300 or so; running the culture slider will NOT be an option, but making 3 back-line cities be primarily on cultural duty should be doable.
Space:
While that might be viable if there was tech trading, I don't see how this could possibly beat culture. I might be wrong.
Time:
Not going to go that far.
So, I see Domination, Diplo, and Culture as the most likely options.

No second place in CIV. Why would plako want to vote Spulla the winner? Not going to happen, unless the situation changes drastically and personal animosities come in. But then again, we are kind of there, already.

Well, technically, on the Hall of Fame it would recorded as a loss, but I think I would be happy saying (in my head at least!) that I finished second behind Sullla & Speaker in an RB Pitboss game for 10 teams, particularly having started next to aggressive Rome.

Well, Centralia has tons of Jungle (I think)
So, Spullla can enter Universal Suffrage, settle a site with tons of jungle (forget about resources), buy up NE and NP (after putting 1h in each), preserve all that jungle (!). Might not be worth it though.
Did we ever get a full screenshot of Centralia from any of the players?
EDIT: If Cloud City (a former Jowy city) is burned down, there may be a city spot for around 10 forests, assuming none of those are chopped down in the meantime, and kathlete didn't place other cities in the area barring the NP city placement (they probably did...)
