Agreed. For Bob: in my test games, 44x32 map dimensions with Inland Oceans seems to give about 800 land tiles, which I still think is a good size.

Yeah Lanun is banned so is HoM.

Dave's map advice to Bob sounds good.

Refresh my memory, before rolling the map all I need from you guys are civ picks, optional settings, and a player order, right? For the latter, I'll randomly determine who the first player is, and then sort everyone else accordingly.



Also, thank you Dave for the map dimensions.

here's the settings from the last game, the only changes so far are banning Hall of Mirros and the Lanun (i'm ok with allowing cultists fyi)

The order we were in before seemed to work out pretty well considering our turn pace, which was:
Me -> Auro -> superjm -> DaveV -> me....

aaaand I guess I'l pm you my picks, four five right?
