Suboptimal and Alhambram explore the unknown lands with Norwegian Longships

Turn 49:

Need to be used to new colors of civ 6 after patch. Nothing much happened, just growing and deleting some units to save up gold.
The important thing for next turn:

Next turn swap to Merchant Republic, 2 military cards (thanks Alhambra one extra military slot), 3 economic and 2 wild card slots.

What to fill in?

I would keep conscription in since it suppress costs of Longships and all other military policies aren't much use for us. Just Natural Philosophy to fill remaining slot?

Ecomomic and wildcard: keep three economic policies that we do have here and add two policies: Thing (quite bunch of our cities (almost) hit housing limit) and Simulateum to boost faith generation.

Turn 51:

At turn 50 I did civic swap exactly what I did say at report of turn 49.

I am growing cities and adding harbors and commerical districts if possible.

Grotlizard is creeping closer and more closer:

Our score are 13550.

One thing to point out: Grotlizard is burning his gold, likely to buy granaries or other housing in new founded cities. As result we have 400 victory points extra advantage due gold treasury. (almost 0 gold in treasury and 350 gold per turn for Grotlizard)
The question is whether Grotlizard got more faith to compensate or just go nuts with city spamming to overcome the difference.

Turn 54:

Grotlizard did pass us in score:

Our score: 14120.

Grotlizard is still burning his treasury, so we have over 500 points advantage in this case.
I am pushing hard for faith, I dunno how many faith Grotlizard have, so keep pushing faith till turn 60.

Religion is the number to watch - he gained 800 points in that category alone over the last three turns.
Sending units to their death since 2017.

Don't do what I did: PBEM 3 - Arabia , PBEM 6 - Australia This worked well enough: PBEM 10 - Aztecs Gamus Interruptus: PBEM 14 - Indonesia
Gathering Storm Meanderings: PBEM 15 - Gorgo You Say Pítati, I Say Potato: PBEM 17 - Nubia The Last of the Summer Wine: PBEM 18 - Eleanor/England
Rhymin' Simon: PBEM 20 - Indonesia (Team w/ China)

Turn 55:

Indeed, Grotlizard is gaining much with empire and religion (adding another 200 previous turn), but I am bit stubbornly: harvesting swamps next Utrecht to kick up pop and religion for us.

Our score is also 14420, same as Grotlizard previous turn.

Turn 56:

Seem that scenario is 10 turns too long for us to win.

Our score: 14540, there is some growth and new trade routes in turns till turn 60 but not such explosive as Swedish final rush past turns.
Harvesting coppers gives total of 150 extra VP, we have roughly 750 points bonus from gold. But I think that it isn't going be enough to keep up with Grotlizard.

Turn 57:

Turn 58:

Broke through barrier of 15000 points (our score is 15010 now).

But Grotlizard got this game in their bag, their score are too high to catch up anymore.

Is that a formal concession?

No need to call concession since there is merely 2 turns left to play. But I already know that we can't win anymore and I am playing this till end.

Turn 59:

3 cities growth next turn but that isn't enough. Also harvested all coppers, the earnings didn't increase with tech or civic discovery, harvesting copper was always worth 250 gold since future tech and civic were reached.
