Looks like I lost Kuat, too, or so I hear. I really was expecting that city to hold out longer.

It's a big problem, since I was going to evac my workers, but now I think my escape route is cut off.

I'll be gifting my cities on Centralia to HRE, and coordinating with HRE to raze Carida to prevent it from falling into enemy hands.

I'm not looking forward to seeing the combat results for the battle of Kuat. Even with a Castle, and slaze with little siege, it seems that wasn't enough.

Unfreakin' believable. I don't know if the RNG just hates me, or if slaze somehow knows how to tilt combat odds in his favor, but what should have been a brutal fight for him was a cakewalk! I think he lost troops on a 1-to-1 ratio!

Sure, I won fights that were listed as 5% victories for him, but my troops were knocked down to, like, 20 HP! It's nuts. I don't know. Maybe that's how it usually goes, but it seems like I should have had more flawless victories. Or maybe I just never really understood the combat odds.

So, slaze really didn't lose much at all.

I have no idea what just happened with slaze, but I'm still dead, so it doesn't matter.

Korea will probably get Carida before I any of my allies can come in to burn it. It's all going dark . . . . But, hey, there's still PBEM 4 (and PB3, of course. Kyan: Are you worried that your partner and military "expert" is busy getting eliminated in this game? ).

Recently, I've thought about my first "multiplayer" Civilization game. This was on Civ III, so not terribly far back, and I was hardly an expert, but I talked my father into playing a game with me. It was his first time playing Civilization ever. I gave him some pointers, of course, but by the time the game moved beyond the early stages, I think he was OK on his own. It was a continents game. I was on one continent, everyone else (father included) was on the other, so that's a whole other issue. Long story short: My father beat me into space by a few turns.

So, really, I don't have a very compelling MP history. Ah, well, it's still very enjoyable and a worthwhile experience.

Anyway, I probably won't be saying much more at this point, unless anyone has specific questions. I'll let you all know when I'm dead, though.

Hi everyone! Friendly neighborhood Whosit here-ish. I, um, I will get some pictures up before I'm finally eliminated. I've taken a few, just haven't really had the time/energy to go through them. Most pictures of big Korean stacks coming for my doom, anyway.

Imperial Center is under siege. Slaze offered a cease fire to me, which I accepted. I think that he just doesn't want to bother coming after me now that Athlete has captured his northern cities. Hope he doesn't make a counter attack. I should warn Athlete to be careful.

I was hoping for a chance to take down Carida, but plako/Broker have left it too well defended, sadly. Just a matter of time, I think.

@Kristian95: Thanks. Not sure how I couldn't stick with my choices (not even my choices, technically), unless you mean quitting and dumping them on someone else, but that'd be way lame. I'll try to less of a meth-hippo-spaz in my other games.
