Thanks AT. I'm going to have to mull this over because the axe is getting pulled in two directions.
I'm grateful that it's just another warrior though...

So here are my current thoughts: the northern barb warrior would attack the sheep on T79. The southern barb warrior could attack Scarrow Hill on T79. I've got to guard the workers as well, so I'm going to need to bring warrior7 up to Scarrow, and I'm going to need to dump the overflow from the worker whip at Owlthorpe into the spear.
I can leave the axe in place on T77, and see if the southern barb wants to suicide. I doubt it, but then it would move to the tile SW of Scarrow instead, and attack into Scarrow at the start of T79. It would run into a warrior with 85% defensive bonus, including the barb city attack penalty. If the northern barb wanted to walk past the axe, well, I could clear it up with the axe. The axe from Wetheral and spear from Owlthorpe would reach the city T80 so are of no real use.
Other option. See if the southern barb warrior moves NE. Stack it with the axe T77, then move the axe back to attack the barb warrior if it moves to the sheep. Bad idea, what if the barbs do other moves?
OTOH, if the barbs don't beeline the city then I also have to cover the worker chopping the granary forest. I lack the units to do that and messing up the chops is bad. So probably need to stick with the plains cow improvement first.
Decisions, decisions...

My head hurts and I hate barbs for existing.
OK, plan. I don't know where this is going, but I can't think about this anymore.
Cavendish moves into the rice. That whole area with Held and Fav is now barb busted.
Warrior7, warrior by Owlthorpe moves two tile along the road to Scarrow.
Warrior in Scarrow moves into the sheep.
Both workers at Scarrow move onto the sheep.
Scarrow works plains forest for this turn and next turn.
Whip the worker in Owlthorpe as planned and dump the overflow into the spear, which completes eot77, right?
I think that is everything for this turn, as everything around Westminster (last chop of forest?) and WT continue as planned...you doing anything for Thanksgiving, AT?

Done those things!
I am around for thanksgiving, if you need, but it sounds like you'll be back in time to play with the extended turns.
The spear is at 15/25. the worker whipped at 60/60, so there is 10 hammers overflow (5 food/5 hammers), so it will take another 2 turns after next, I think. So, it will be available T79, I think.
Forest chop in westminster completed, scout is on galley, which is on the fish there.
Warrior and 2 workers on sheep, warrior on it's way, scout on rice.
Let me know if you do need me, but I'm guessing you won't.
Good luck!!

Thanks AT, much appreciated.
Yeah, I don't think we need to rush T77. Nothing critical expected to happen on turn roll that will affect moves, no battles I'll be nervous about. I'll play it when I get back on Friday evening.

AT, ignore what I said I am wrong, don't change the tech each rate.
Edit: you're too fast for me! Don't worry, it's not worth changing again, just leave it to whatever you've set it to.

9 players down and I will not be able to play for about 24 hours. AT, would you be able to play one more turn please?
If there are no new barbs the turn should be simple to play.

No problem.
Not sure what tech should be, so I set it to IronWorking @ 0%
Also, you need to decide what to do with units around Scarrow Hill, since the barbs are both advancing.
I'm heading out in an hour or so. If you have thoughts before then, I'll play it before. If not, i'll finish the turn tonight.
I can't imagine anyone's going to be upset if it waits a little

Sorry, got waylaid talking on the phone, then lost my post. I hope your day is going well, with no family arguments.
Orders for this turn:
Cavendish moves SW, checks for barbs, then moves back onto the rice regardless of what he sees.
Yeld moves 1N, if no barbs adjacent skip turn, if barb present moves 1S.
Warrior7 promotes C1, moves into Scarrow and fortifies.
Warrior on sheep hill moves into Scarrow.
Both workers on sheep hill pasture/cancel
Axe1 moves into sheep hill.
I believe there should be a new mine at Westminster, if so it should be worked instead of a coast tile.
Tech should be kept at 0% and on Currency.
Gilbert was offloaded onto the tile 1SE of the plains hill sheep, right?
Thanks again AT.
