That's not a fair compromise at all. I saw the list, yet I cannot recall all the information. I can remember certain players information, but not everyone's. If I agree that my information to be posted, then I go from having an unwanted advantage to an unwanted disadvantage if I have access to only some players information.
This has to be all or nothing, and nothing isn't fair any more. In such a scenario, I would refuse to agree that my information should be posted publicly.

So what did the rest of us miss?
Not necessarily the actual information, but what fields of information were revealed anyway.
The number of cities and units (not type -- just total number) for each player was listed. The 1st I guess you can track via PBSpy if you make the effort but the 2nd is not supposed to be revealed.
I've tried to forget what I saw personally, and it's not like it helps much anyway, but if people want it revealed to everyone out of fairness I don't care.
I think if this was accidentally revealed to anybody, it should be revealed to everybody.
I'm in agreement with the reveal as well. It's already out there. I don't even know how many people saw it. I'm not even sure exactly how valuable the information is.
But it's definitely damaging in some way.
Being found out as the player running a farmer's gambit might hurt you. But seeing your neighbor's buildup might save you. We can't know.
The only fair solution is to damage everyone in a vaguely equal fashion.
