Wait, are there any other Clintons? They have kids. Do the kids have anything to do with any of those words?

Whoops, I miscounted the words we needed, that helps a little bit. I'm surprised RACKET did indeed fit with Clinton, but we got it so that's great. As for our last word, hmmm.....

I think our last word is also the missing Hobbit word. The only other possibility our missing word could be is UNICORN, but if pja planned the clues in advance then he wouldn't include UNICORN with Hobbit if he was going to get it next turn with Pointy. We also have a Pointy word left, but RACKET fits and since it also fits with Clinton it makes sense to reclue it. So what's our strongest remaining Hobbit word? GENIUS for the Tolkien reference.

Trouble is I'm having a hard time seeing how GENIUS applies to Clinton, has any Clinton ever been described that way? If so that's what I would go for. If not then the next best thing is probably INDIA, for Secretary of State. I'm not entirely sure what they do, how that relates to INDIA or how it's a Hobbit word, but I don't see anything better. I don't like BAT as that is probably red.

As you say, they have a daughter - Chelsea, I think. I don't know much about her, and can't see a link anyway.

I've been racking my brain for any other Clintons, but the only one that has come to mind is a chain of UK greeting card shops - very unlikely to be relevant.

Looking at Red's clues (Black, Publish IIRC), I'd avoid UNDERTAKER, but frankly wouldn't complain if we just handed the rest to random.org ...

INDIA seems to have a slight popularity edge.

I threw India out there as the third pointy clue, because I don't link racket to pointy. The only way India fits is if Unicorn was the fourth Hobbit clue and it was reclued through pointy. I mean it does fit better than most other words into Clinton as the fourth clue.

I yield the decision to others, but that random.org play seems reasonable...

JR4, if you are fine with INDIA then feel free to point to it. Otherwise if you have any other suggestions let us know.

I`not happy about INDIA for our last guess as the connection to the Clintons looks really weak.

GENIUS could refer to Bill Clinton as being widely acknowledged as intelligent but that`s risky too. It does have an outside chance of being the last Hobbit clue though.

Another option is PLASTIC. Hilary is by some people seen as being out of touch with the voters and a representative for big money (Wall Street). In the last presidential debates she did come across as rather insensitive and perhaps that`s a reference to PLASTIC. Does anyone know if pjabrony has a strong opinion on politics? Also, some politicians that are 65 years + do some kind of facelift or plastic surgery.

To sum up, my preference is PLASTIC and GENIUS in that order. I could perhaps be talked into another word.

PLASTIC is really weak imo. Mind you, so is every other word, but I still prefer GENIUS and INDIA.

WK: GENIUS -> INDIA
JR4: PLASTIC -> GENIUS
shallow: BAT -> INDIA I think
Krill: abstained

I think GENIUS has a slight edge, but INDIA is really close too. shallow, if you are happy with GENIUS then point to it. Otherwise we should probably flip a coin/use random.org as a tiebreaker between the two, as I don't think further discussion is going to help.

Here is a question: if Genius is blue, then why not go Hobbit 5? Dwarf, Kiwi, Stream, Unicorn, Genius? Because Amazon?

Heads for GENIUS, tails for INDIA.

A penny says heads.

Point to GENIUS.

(I think this is the first time I have actually pointed to something - I don't expect it to go well).

Okay, we had to choose one of them and GENIUS it is. @Shallow_thought: You need to point to a word in bold to make it official:

Point to Genius
