Got The Colossus!! Oh yeah baby! Makes me feel better about, well..
Two more Holkans appeared. I chose to retreat, I'd like to have my units around after the war.
Hopefully that'll be the end of it next turn. I'll try to settle 1st ring to the Corn with my next settler.
Economy wise, we've got a big boom on the way. Connecting Ivory and Gems soon for 2 happiness, 3 with Forge. Then with Calendar I can add 2 more happiness.
I think I need to swallow my anger and get those big cities up and running.
The Holy Kingdom of Faerghus will not forget this day.

AT took the undefended Polynesian and accepted peace (a cease fire, technically). I sent in an OB offer, I'd like to explore a bit with my warrior.
Speaking of exploring, I'll send out a WB from Charon towards hopefully Gira's lands. Then I may get foreign trade routes via the coast.
Charriu continues to refuse peace, which is a bit alarming. I thought that'd be the war that would be quickly handled. I'm reinforcing the front.

Okay whew, Charriu asked for a peace treaty, and I agreed to it.
He's settling a city on the plains hill. I'm glad we rushed and at least got the Mateus spot 
Those Chariots could have been bad news. I have a spear close, but not close enough if he had gone for the city. We got lucky.
Overview pre-boom. I can maybe 4T research Calendar next turn at max.
Immediate goals: Connect all 4 new happiness resources. Grow cities to accomodate new happy cap. Settle the last 3 cities. Keep an eye on AT still.
Having Polynesian and the Pink Dot city would have helped a bit with Land. We might be a little squeezed in, which to be fair was expected when I had to settle backfill cities first.
It looks like two civs are running away, Pindicator and presumably Superdeath (even if score isn't always an accurate representation). We are competitive with the rest of the field.
Long term now I think I need to get a tech advantage and work from there, whether it is expanding by war or continue snowballing with the cities I have.

My best shot is probably to conquer a neighbor and have them fall without much resistance. We could try as early as with War Elephants and Catapults. AT has Holkans with Agg+Chr so not the ideal target for WE's. Charriu would be easier. I have espionage set on him, hoping to see his tech path. If he's far from Pikes, perhaps that should be the way to go. If that works out, then we should have a shot at winning, as long as trade routes aren't as OP as I fear they could be.
Connected ivory for our first dose of happiness.
Side note: Charriu only had a few resources connected according to the trade screen. Weird. Maybe he's having troubles. Good for the WE plan?
Gautier will pop borders next turn and we can start connecting the gems.
AT accepted OB! We might actually get some scouting done

Gems connected. Dyes and Silk coming soon! We managed to shave off a turn from Calendar. Incense will have to wait as it'll be 2nd ring to a city we haven't settled yet, but it'll take a while to reach our new caps anyway.

Someone's getting 25 GPT minimum from foreign trade routes. And someone else is feeding 64 GPT more to his enemies than he's getting. Fun.

Got Research visibility on Charriu. He has Currency lined up, but research turned down. Still a good sign.
We actually have a lower health cap than happy cap in a few non fresh water cities. Now we have a good reason to build some Barays!
I also sent in a health resource for health resource trade to AT. I don't know how long that will last when I plant the city. Gotta keep a close eye on his demos (which I lost two turns ago  )
