Charriu killed AT's stack. AT does have defenders left in the city though. I think it's better that they clashed before signing peace. I think they will sign it now.
It will take Charriu 5 turns to reach my stack with these two stacks, so I will definitely be able to capture the city I'm currently at.
Also he might have sacked most of his catapults. I'm not sure though because his other stack was in the fog for me last turn.
Yup, no-one in range to attack out at me. My stack is now on the forest and I think I can take the city next turn.

Charriu saw it coming and retreated. We got the city for free. It has a world wonder: The Great Wall. *world's smallest yay*
AquaticGhouls is Charriu's capital. He'll be there in time to engage on us. I don't think we should walk in there.
AT did not sign peace with Charriu yet. I think I should stay in war until that happens so Charriu can't just turn everything towards AT. Hopefully AT isn't thinking the same thing
That does give me some turns to try and take Charriu's side cities. There's an island city to the South that should be easy pickings.
Charriu is 5T away from Feudalism. If we want to get at his capital anytime soon (and collapse him), right now is the time to do it.
E: Cairo canceled OB and asked for gold to redo it. Dude, you're protective, you should be paying me

Hmm what if I sign a cease fire instead, he moves against AT, and then I go for his capital

I can't play right now, but from PBSpy I can see that Charriu took the city back from AT. This means I can attack his capital before he can come back with whatever he's got left. It scares the shit out of me, but I think I have to take the chance and move in. Well, assuming AT didn't abandon the city.

I moved in. I will take another look with the chariot next turn. We can still back down if we spot too many units incoming.
Also we're no longer last in land, we've overtaken Charriu (or AT?) by 1 tile!
Overview. Any reinforcements will now go to the other front.

Quick report I got food waiting.
I peeked with the Chariot. Charriu's got enough to defend, so I retreated back to the city. Not very offensive unit composition so I don't think he can counter even with road advantage.
I'll take this next turn, then ask for cease fire, or peace if AT is not in war with him anymore. 4 cities "for free" is quite nice. My stack was for defense after all

We captured the island city. In the main land, I have a nice vantage point from the hill to keep an eye on Charriu.
He made peace with AT this turn, so I sent him a white peace offer. I hope he accepts, but if he doesn't, I do have some plans in mind.

Charriu didn't accept peace. I fear we might be stuck in an eternal war now. Maybe I overplayed my hand by waiting to get AT safely out. Let's see if we can make Charriu overplay his.
You don't get culture from captured World Wonders, it seems Pushing back his borders would have made a major difference.
If he attacks before we get culture control, we have to abandon this city and instead strike Charriu when we have the road advantage.
Is he paying attention? This was the original idea with the canal had it worked.
Sneaky power graph snap taken after rolling turn. Charriu isn't going to win this war, but he can certainly be a pain if that's his only goal.
I sent him another peace offer. I also sent Mjmd an offer to attack Charriu. Just a hint that his forces are going to be on my side. I don't really want to make Mjmd bigger than he already is, but I also don't want to be stuck in this war.

Aw he noticed. It will tie up some of his units in any case.
I also whipped another Galley, reinforcing via water will be faster.

Nobody's been accepting my happiness resource for happiness resource trades, so I took this deal from the devil.
Spotted his stack. There was a tile that was hidden and I was going to use combat workers to go back and forth to keep an eye on it, but no need anymore.
If he moves all in, I'll attack his stack next turn. If he takes the city with 1 unit, I'll kill it and raze the city. If he does something else, we'll figure it out next turn.
Mjmd stack is far away and not moving to the right direction, so can't expect any help from him.
