I think it might have taken much longer. Three and a half minutes per person is a pretty fast pace.
Also to those not aware, the timers are like chess timers. If you save time on your turn, you can use it later when you need it.
I want to play on Friday. Kaiser does that day work for you? If you can't make it, I'll play in a new game.

I won't be able to make it as we are heading to vacation today right after work. I will try to get my PBEM18 turn in before hitting the road but that's it for today I believe.

"looks at open weekend"
"Superdeath seems to have acquired a rep for aggression somehow. In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

So uh Thrawn let me know when you've got time to play!
Also me, Grillo and Superdeath are planning to play a new game today.

Had a fun game tonight. I will upload a video tomorrow of at least the two main vs main fights.
We played on the only map intended for a 3-way game, Kerberos. It's a good map, but way too big imo. We should play smaller ones when we're newbies I think.

When you posted the previous I thought he was going to continue after all. I'll let you know, it's a bit hard at the moment to find a large enough time block - I wish it had a PBEM option and you only need to sit together for combat, the logistics would be much easier.

Are you becoming a Diamond fan?
Can't say with one game of experience I'd like to add some more to that.
I agree about the PBEM part. I don't know if it's technically possible, but theoretically you could play the usual "sim turns" period in a PBEM format, then finish up in MP. Would have to play a template that doesn't have early contact.
