Wowza. Check to make sure there isnt a pb52 ME position on the map please. Where the only trade routes is THRU someone... <3
There won't be. This map is far better. Charriu's complaints, your complaints, and of course pindicator's complaints are featuring prominently in my choices this time.
Starts will also be perhaps somewhat more lush than PB52.

Map will be cylindrical, with enough space to turn around. The map will be a bit more... naval than PB52 (I didn’t use a Pangaea script this time). I’m balancing starts more precisely this time around, with only a certain number of possible starting configurations, similar numbers of forests, hills, river tiles, coastal tiles (if present) and food-hammer totals from food resources. The rest of the terrain is random but key resources will be within a reasonable bounding box. All civs will have ICTR options (plural, unlike PB52). I’ll send out starting screenshots on Wednesday or Thursday - I’d appreciate it if a lurker could roll a random order for picking and start assignment (I’ve numbered each at random)

I think this got lost somehow, and the game was filled already, but please, don't feel unwelcome !
I think everybody here appreciates a newbie coming forward and shame that it didn't work this time around. If you still want to participate you could join a player/team here and be part of the discussions, planning, and maybe occasional turnplaying. Some teammates here get pretty much involved and dominate the game from the shadows, allegedly. Hitru . Ruff has explicitly asked for a teammate here, but if you like the style of another one of the participants, most people will gladly accept a partner I think.
And if you want your *own* game, they have been starting at a peace of > 1 every 2 months lately, so hopefully you wouldn't have to wait too long.
Tad luck here, this game had the fastest signup process in living memory.
Edit: ok I got this wrong, duh.

civac was offering to be Ruff's teammate. Ruff has not responded to that offer.

Missed that, lots of phonetyping in vain.

If he isnt interested, i love having dedlurkers even when i dont listen to their suggestions... Gives me a reason to post updates tbh.

In this game that's going to help us because he's going to go to the negotiating table with twitchy eyes and slightly too wide a grin and terrify the neighbors into favorable border agreements, one-sided tech deals and staggered NAPs."

I had complaints? Could write in my PB52 what those were, because I don't remember those complains and I actually liked the PB52 map.

Ah, I should have mentioned before, but would it be ok to start this on Sunday or later? I’m not sure what the timeframe is, maybe that’s the plan anyway. If not, I apologise.

If we start on Sunday, it would be unusually fast.
