Because usually by the time you're worried about an attack, you have better units? The problem with archers is they aren't flexible, they can only defend really.

And @Noble - I edited in our respective history with everyone above.

And @Noble - I edited in our respective history with everyone above.
See the beauty of Civ I consider them realy good as in the ancient era are the best defence unit. And even in clasical is very usefull. I usualy find myself building loads of them maybe even more then axes.

Do mine ears detect the pitter patter of unfinished setting discussions? But I thought Lord Jowy had settled all issues? Such a sorry state we know find our selves in. Someone's ears must be burning? For shame! For shame...

Certain members of this team of this team have vested interests in certain settings that haven't been discussed and have asked me to refrain from antagonizing pointing out the hypocrisy issues that have not been discussed. Wouldn't it be a hoot if city and unit gifting made it into the game?
