Anyone else excited about Cyberpunk 2077s release? Being a retro gamer I don't even have a PC good enough to run the thing haha but nevertheless I've been drooling over all the videos CD Projekt Red have been releasing on youtube lately. Eg just look at the amazing views of the huge city in this one!




Over the last few months they’ve been doing a really good behind the scenes series called ‘Night City Wire’ with heaps of amazing new gameplay footage.

From what I heard, it was ready for release this month, delay to November was to line up with the launch of the new consoles. So there's every chance of it actually coming out in Nov

That said, it's been overhyped so much that personally I can't wait for release to pass simply so that the hype can die down a little

Well it's not as overhyped as Artifact. Not sure we'll ever see a game as overhyped as that one.

All my hype for the apocryphal Half Life 3 transferred to Cyberpunk around seven years ago, so I'm pretty excited; already put in to take a week off from work to play it. Should be a good distraction from the collapse of society into an actual cyber dystopia (minus the cool implants).

Mostly because I don't believe any game deserves the amount of hype I saw for CP2077

Probably the most anticipated game for me in a few years. I just loved The Witcher 3 so much that I'm sure I'll enjoy this. It does feel like the hype for this thing has reached such a stratospheric level where there's almost no way it can fully meet expectations, especially when it's this studio's first attempt at an FPS... But I'm sure I'll like it regardless.
