Have you managed to connect ever? If not there's a thread about the hoops you need to jump through stickied in civ general.
I connect all the way and then some dialog box pops up but I CTD before I can read it.
I have the hosts file set and I have CtH 1.5.2 loaded. I can't get either BTS Wrapper or the other extra program Ramk has posted to work, but that shouldn't matter for connecting?
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Sounds like you have the mod in My Games instead of or as well as Program Files. Doesn't matter for pbem but bothers pitboss.

Yep, that fixed it.
Thanks, Harry!

Some turn updates:
We decided to head back south to flesh out our home map knowledge instead of sending our scout off into the land bridge from which he likely wouldn't return. And I'm glad we did.
Good stuff to think about and plan for now.
I think scout moves E-NE to see the gold coast and then SW-S to that hill and continue further south.
Our first warrior should go NW and check out that area.
I think we should revisit the double settler delayed 2nd and 3rd warrior plan.
Our SW is shit
I have demos from each turn. Let me know if anyone wants them.

Scouts find no seafood, nut more food to the south:

That tile like 2W of gold is crying out for some food.

Well, the good thing is, this map makes it obvious where to plant your cities. The bad thing is, this map makes it obvious where to plant your cities.

Right now I am thinking something like 1W of corn, NE of pig, and 1N of rice, potentially in that order. We could skip the corn city if we want to get to the gold faster but the pig city won't have a trade route until we can build roads.

And yes, that is Superdeath.

It's actually 10 tiles between cities. I have to say that an error margin of 33% IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE AMOUNT.
