I can't see how offering peace to both TBS and Scooter at the same time is the optimal move for any objective for Cornflakes.

If there is 10 turns of peace with Scooter, Cornflakes may calm down and un-tilt. Not sure what the odds of that are, we’ll have to see.

Btw, I think I said some time ago that Comm can't trust Scooters fish for fish long term. This is exactly what I was talking about back then, Scooter is already sending units south to pressure Comm and is openly thinking about extorting him etc.

Neither Scooter nor Commodore can trust each other long term, but both know it & know they have to escalate or draw down together, because each is willing to take advantage if they don’t. So it’s not that they can’t cooperate so much as the value of cooperation is constantly being re-evaluated.

Now that Scooter attacked Commodore (probably another "border adjustment" as he knows Flakes is not happy with him, lets see how it goes for him this time) I think TBS is actually in pretty good position as he has 2 easy neighbours to eat while Scooter and Comm will stare at each others wth their long border.
I feel like Scooter has managed to put himself in pretty bad spot re diplo. If Scooter just war-peaces Comm that would lead to a cituation where Scooter can capture Ligurian and plan on how to eat Flakes (who pretty clearly is now set against him) while letting Comm and TBS split Cairo, which would benefit TBD and Comm more than him. If Scooter tries to extort Comm or "adjust borders" for short time benefit he might regrett it in the long run as both of his neighbours would be hostile. If Scooter goes all out war vs Comm that just won't work with current army size, build queues and tech parity, leading to a situation where TBS can concentrate on eating Cairo while Flakes will just stab him asap.

And before someone reminds me on how me and Rusten made game long enemy of Nauf in pb41 (sorry Nauf!) that was different as we had tech edge on sea so he really could not attack us that effectively, here both Flakes and Comm can easily hit Scooter whenever Scooter is looking weak.
