In my defense, Scooter is one of the two who moved before settling.
I think dirt cheap Archery is one of the best RtR changes.

I wondered if he moved but didn't know due to the no-score mod. Now I feel bad for the heat.
Yeah, the silver lining is that I wasn't going for the Great Lighthouse...

Why can't I keep my big mouth shut?
I thought I took a different pic, but this one will have to do. I sure hope this is the proverbial kitchen sink. Scooter's nearest city is empty. Of course, if he chokes me for long enough, he could even bring up axes, tech horse archers, anything. My paranoid imagination runs wild.
Since I'm just sort of winging this mess now, anybody want to wonder out loud about civ4 mechanics? I've played my half of this turn. Scooter will now play his in the second half. How many cities do I lose on his turn?
(I'm still cranky but I won't bitch any more. Much.)

Sorry, I was unclear. I meant I double, triple, and quadruple checked that chariots can't seize workers/ships after using up their attack. (They can walk into and capture undefended cities, however.)

I actually didn't know that part. I thought they couldn't raze undefended cities.
