Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

Gaspar and Lewwyn listen to backseat drivers Brick and Noble

I played turn 24 because it looked like it would roll overnight if we played our turn.  I checked the power graph and saw that SD has no warriors, so warrior harassment is simply impossible.  So I decided we should have moved NE more to defog as much as possible while still moving to cover the workers.

Yes, what the sign says. We have 71% odds to survive. Assuming we do, we can move SE next turn and heal within our borders.

So basically noble jumped out the back seat grabbed the wheel for one turn while I was playing Hades. Went NE with the warrior, off script:

Bye warrior:

Fuck me.

Options:
A) Have the chop go into the warrior this turn and delay the settler 2t.

B) Continue building settler and micro plan with 1 worker roading outside of borders for 3 turns.

C) Have workers stay in borders for both planned, delay the road to the copper city, don't delay Settler and send the settler out of our culture for 1 turn unprotected...

Jesus take the wheel.

Maybe the scout can get there to fogbust and make sure there arn't any barbs:

Yes he can reach by T28 and fogbust before we move the settler T29. So we'll know for sure then.

BTW This peninsula the scout has explored is much more likely safe for SD. Yes he needs IW to clear jungle but it's clearly "HIS" I only hope we got something comparable to expand into. but I'm not hopeful. Goddamnit.

Nice reporting!
I have to run.

Well that was unfortunate. Odds were actually 77% due to the bonus vs animals. bang

Our scout raced back and made sure the settler was safe to move:

We're okay. We finished both roads this turn so good optimal micro there. The settler is in place to settle next turn. We'll get a warrior in 2t and start on another before we grow to 3.

Hey there's a lion between us and SD.

BTW Commodore settled last turn so he's at 2 cities, but noone else has settled a second one yet so that's a good sign for us.

We forgot to save gold last turn and we almost forgot to revolt to Slavery this turn. And Gaspar wonders why I put up signs constantly. wink

Looks like SD built a warrior shortly after our bear mishap. About four turns ago he teched Hunting, after teching BW the turn before we finished it. He went Agriculture -> BW -> Hunting.

Big news this turn! Superdeath has found a neighbor:

Huzzah.

Maybe the bigger news is we settled Raggabrash:

Yay we are tied for 3rd to 2nd city. AT has also settled now.

I realized that our naming convention has not been discussed. Allow me to illuminate:

Cumberworld - (obsolete, derogatory) A useless person or thing; someone who is an encumbrance on the world.

Raggabrash - A disorganized or grubby person.

SO yes we are using insults, medieval and other such obsoleted ones!

Demos so far this turn:

We are decidedly middling. Tech is a huge issue. I want pottery, cottages and granaries to get our traits working for us. We need AH first for horses, sheep, and copper site's cows. But yes I think likely Pottery after AH.

Healing in place gave us 30 hp, which I guess wasn't enough to fully heal but the scout would've been at 99 hp or something which would've been good enough. That's why I wanted to heal in place. But whatever.
