Stonehenge should be ours next turn. The scuffle with AT delayed it by one turn. There still isn't a finished wonder anywhere in the world although six players have Masonry by now.
The southern waters belong to an inland sea as I had feared.
I have two scouting work boats sailing around in this puddle. From the info gathered by the scouts it looks like you can get circumnavigate via island chains in the northern/outer ocean. Unfortunately, I never made the second work for the western route. The work boat on the eastern route past Amicalola will eventually circumnavigate but that takes another 10-20 turns.
The settler for the 11th city is on its way. Galley even has an archer loaded for defense.
Crab, fish and copper is very nice. The work boat is a bit late because I didn't think the movement to the city location through.
Some core cities are already preparing the next settler wave ...
.. for after our upcoming research of Currency. Since we will build Stonhenge ourselves and circumnavigation traderoutes are not forthcoming I will go for the ugly solution and generate another 200ish gold via overflow generated by whips and math chops of warriors. Otherwise Currency will take forever. We should have it in 8 turns unless my estimation is off which is of course very possible.

We have Stonhenge. Superdeath agreed to a gold vs his only gems trade. He does have a second sorce of gems but probably need some time until he can exploit it. It's second ring and under jungle.

Mass chops of warriors to convert excess hammer overflow into coin? I have never done that ... do you have the mechanics down on this?
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

If I remember it correctly then you can only create overflow up to the cost of the object you are building. Everything above is converted to gold. Let's take this example:
You whip a warrior at 10/15 and generate 30 hammers from the whip. 5 hammers go into the warrior. 15 hammers will be converted to overflow, because the warrior costs 15 hammers. The rest will be converted into 10 gold.
This is also another way for CHA to generate gold via their production bonus for monuments.

I tested it in SP and it works. The 30 hammers of a one-pop whip finish the warrior and provide the maximum possible overflow. Any forest chopped and the cities base production for two turns (start +whip turn) is excess and gets converted to gold. Costs are I need to pillage copper and then reconnect it, 4 cities eat pop 1 whips with associated loss of population and anger, five forests get chopped which could go into infrastructure. Definitely not cheap but we get Currency 5 turns earlier and more importantly prior to the next settlers being placed which could push this date back considerably. Each new cities costs almost 10 gold now and the cost will increase further.

Hi Ruff, please don't try the to take the turn. Im waiting intentionally for late in the turn so that people don't notice the disconnected metal until next turn. Timer games, I know. Will play the turn after Commodore or with an hour or so to go whatever comes first.

I see lots of whips and a new city. Others will see that too.

Everything worked as expected. We made 220 gold and will have Currency in 3 turns.
The work boat is near the fish in the north west. Direct traversal would be 10 turns. But it will probably be longer if the wor boat has to follow the layout of the islands.
News:
AT converted to Hinduism (requiring anarchy).
Gavagai built the Oracle and converted to Hereditary Rule.
