It's kinda funny, throwing a fit that the worst player of PBEM78 is "helping" you, but not realizing that at the same time one of the strongest players on RB is backdooring into the game. Oh well, you will win regardless, because you have my invaluable feedback. Ahem... when I'm around, which might not be before after the weekend. But rejoice, that also means my play in PBEM78 will stay as abysmal as it is since T45.  

On that note: Has another turn be played, was something of value scouted? WAS I RIGHT THAT WE SHOULD GO NORTH? Or was it south? I can't remember which direction I liked the sound of more. Which obviously is the only way to decide where to go.

DEADLURKER is an acceptable form of slang. Sematics, Shemantics. It's more poetically evocative.

All right well since novice the Great is requesting an update, I suppose I am obliged to provide one.   Turns 1-14 were played.



We finished AH and are now teching BW.  We are bordered by El Grillo (Nebuchadnezzar of Inca) to the north and Lazteuq (Sitting Bull of Byzantium) to the south. There are nine tiles between capitals, ten tiles of movement.



It's uncertain where we'll plant our second city, and we can't make a final decision until we see copper.

I have no expectations for the map to be balanced

I wasn't kidding when I said this by the way.  Grillo has stone in his BFC. That and the general abundance of forests that he must have seen in his starting screenshot makes a Nebuchadnezzar pick make a lot of sense.
