So usually Noble is on chat when I play the turn, but I'm a bit early so I'll go through our usual here for now.

Cornflakes accepted peace, settled a city, likely over in the East jungle. He has a warrior on his city site in the west and an axe and numid over there.

Important, he pillaged the road NW of the razed city. Means we need 2 workers to road it next turn so we can plant the city on the hill next turn. I'm thinking we have the 2 workers on the forests chop. We move the new archer from poltroon onto the north worker, the chariot onto the other worker and the axe onto the tile with Amica and Corn's chariots. The spear from Fop reaches Gnash this turn too.

I think the 2 workers that were roading SW of Gnash move 1E and road that tile so that next turn they can move and road the pillaged road and we can plant the city next turn.

The 2 workers north of Gnash can road South of rragga and speed the spear and archer out of ragga south.

Whipping Gnash should transfer the rep happiness to Ragga which is good.

The worker West of Gnash should go north to help cottage Gillie.

Build discussion:

I swapped Fop back to the lighthouse, we can finish the archer later.

Poltroon can finish its baray.

Cumberworld... Baray? Unit? Barracks? I'm open to possibilities.

Bobo... Anpther archer? Spear axe? what do we thin is coming from Amica. He has IW. I think he's chopping jungle. But that means he has sword access. Maybe another axe.

Muckspout. I'm thinking worker there cottages for a turn, We 2 pop whip the axe there now, overflow into moai, chop into moai, grow to 4, 2 pop whip walls and overflow into moai. Thougts?

Gillie is currently on archer again. There are two archer sin the city. I think we put one archer on copper and one archer N of cpper to force the barb archer S toward the cottage flatland. That gives axe more time to heal and an easier kill for its 10th exp. Maybe we build a barracks here.

We need 1 settler for whale island, 2 settlers for the north peninsula. So possibly we build a settler in Cumbworld or GIllie or Bobo or whip out of ragga.

Thoughts?

Also LURKERS TOO! Am I in a turn split for resettlign the horse? Can I end turn this turn and then just resettle the horse as a double move???

Amica might have double moved us and pillaged the road.

We can't double move to settle the city.

In case it's not clear we had no intention of attacking his city when we took the workers. But then he fed us a second axe for free and the relative army sizes are such that a loss of two axes makes a huge difference.

Okay so after a lengthy discussion we finished up:

The archer on the chariots to teleport Amica if he DOWs, 2 worker sin place to road next turn, and we decided to pillage the two roads leading to the city site because why leave anything to chance when you can just make it 100% sure Corn can't settle this turn. Yes we will have to re road these tiles in the future, but hey that's the price you pay for a sure thing.

We are really close to circumnav, maybe 2-3t left. Also Currency in 2t. We need more cities again. Starting a settler in Gillie.

As turn rolled:

Barb wins a 9% odds battle against our archer. Our axe will clean up for 10 exp at 97% odds...

Okay so AT just posted in the PB54 lurker thread:

Quote:man, civac is just running away with this.

I have to kill Legerity. CoL just popped up in it. I don't see how I can kill it, mind you, but it's going to kill 3 cities of mine with culture, with stonehenge and soon a frickin shrine.

Civac is up CoL, currency and calendar on me.

Obviously it should have gone in his spoiler thread here. I don't get why he is lamenting his position while also giving away a strategic resource.

Also Amica why are yo hanging around the border with SD/Corn with a chariot instead of around your border with Civac? Why aren't you teaming up with AT to fight the LONG border with him and Jowy, rather than sending chariots at our capital and contesting a small land bridge? Just super poor overall understanding of global dynamics and how to best exploit them. Obviously I don't know what he's got going on his border with Civac, but I have to believe if he didn't prioritize settling the land bridge towards us he could have headed Civac off a bit. And if he hadn't come at us with chariots he could have had a friendly safe border with us. What a mistake. I dunno for sure but it may give Civac enough of an edge to just run away completely.

I saw that. I didn’t say anything, but someone’s gotta talk some sense into him.

So we settled Mumpsimus, (a person who obstinately adheres to unreasonable customs or notions), where hadrum used to be. When I opened the turn:

Cornflakes settler is under the axe there, so pillaging that road stopped him.

Amica is being annoying with the chariot, but also:

He's roading up on us. Also that cities borders popped and took over culture of our stone and copper. Whoops.

We did the only sensible thing and declared war. And offered a peace treaty. We shall see his intentions.

In Gavagai news:

His army is on the move to the north... Is AT up there? I hope so!

But AT wasn't the only civ gifting Cornflakes their sole supply of horses. Amica also gifted his only horse to SD/Cornflakes too. Jesus man.

Ended turn and the culture flipped:

We'll survive I think. Need to get peace and whip a library.

Hey good news, currency is in.

I mean I feel like we're getting pre-emptive dogpiled. Which is basically like everyone (OK obviously not everyone, I'm exaggerating) is conceding in advance, so the game is basically a freeroll. wink
