[SPOILERS] naufragar earns no points

Well, uh, this game seems over.

It's just a question of time.

Scooter sent a cease-fire, which was pretty silly. I sent back a peace treaty, which he rejected. Fair enough. War's not costing him anything. Again, I'm surprised to see that he's keeping pace with Ruff and Cairo despite his disastrous expedition. Not sure what his plan is. I guess I've got a mine and a few roads he could still pillage. crazyeye

But yeah, none of this matters because Imp/Spi Byzantium just got the Pyramids. scared

Not a gameplay report but a bug report this time! (So only for Charriu, I guess.)

I believe Ruff the Great Bug Finder noticed this first. I probably shouldn't be able to see how many turns Scooter has put into chopping his jungle. It's irrelevant right now, but I can imagine a scenario in which one wants to hide forest chops from an opponent.

Otherwise, nothing happening.

I posted about that and Charriu did not comment. I think technically you might be able to see it in base BTS if you do queue command trickery with a worker, so it might be OK. Of course you have no workers, so that is also debatable. lol

Yeah, Noble is right about the worker trickery. I will investigate it and write about it in the mod thread

It's turn 100 and what a turn 100 update we shall have.

Because it hadn't really interested me, I hadn't mentioned that Vanrober had declared war on Ruff. When I said didn't interest me, I meant "broke my heart because Vanrober was not delivering my vicarious vengeance on Scooer." Ruff was in a stronger position than Scooter, so that war surprised me. The war went on for a few turns; I didn't pay attention to see if anything happened. But today, Vanrober made me happy by declaring on Scooter.

Here's the power graph and why I was surprised that Vanrober/GKC chose Ruff over Scooter.

Scooter started moving his axes out of my territory, so I figured I'd follow them with my horse archer and see if I can cause any mischief.

You can see from my worker and granary builds that I'm going for the semi-long game, looking to build up some pop at the capital with a granary, so I can have a bit of a base to whip off when the time comes. (Scooter is researching Construction.  nono )

So after knocking out Scooter, who are you going to fend off with a mixture of brilliance and luck next?

I am not immune to flattery.

Vanrober has a bunch of keshiks to my east. I've seen at least six, so I'm emergency whipping a spear while El Grillo is still giving me bronze. So long as El Grillo doesn't disconnect it this turn, I'm peachy. I've got about 8 more turns before I can connect my own iron.

I don't have a unit to spare to gawk at Vanrober's conquests, but I have to assume Scooter can hold him off by now. Scooter has the barb city, his capital, the ivory city, and one more I haven't spotted. Vanrober could make some decent gains in his west if he clears out my culture, so I'm gonna try and prepare in case. The distant long term plan involves replanting some cities, but for now we keep a wary watch on the Mongol hordes.

I am thankful for Vanrober's thrashing of Scooter. I am less thankful that he's going to eliminate me before Scooter. cry

Oh well.
