Sounds like things are heating up. Scouts are ok for scouting ... sentry chariots are better smile.

That should make a fun (pun intended) city name.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Gavagai took a city from AT. Still not sure whether to jump in. AT has a jungle city south of Legerity we could take very easily. But that city isn't so valuable and it would be a new front to defend. Taking the hill fortress would be much more interesting as it does not increase our borders, is difficult to attack for AT and is situated at a stronger city spot. Unfortunately, without catapults that's not happening. AT built a wall in the city. Even Pratorians have very low odds agianst either axes or PRO archers. I could get Constructon in 2 turns.

Two cities were founded this turn (up to 20 total) and we are all out of spots now. I will make a large update with city tour later today. Made a lot of pictures but I don't have the time right now.

I also completely misunderstood the SD vs Lewwyn war.  banghead SD lost a bunch of points early on and I thought that must be the GLH but maybe it's the land tiles which you lose immediatly (even though gaining land is delayed in the point calculation by 20 turns). Anyway, SD still has the GLH.

You could have lots of fun with variations on this ... vapid, tapid, flacid.

Holy cow, AT lost 3 more cities and whipped no less than 8 times. I think I will go for construction and build some more Prats and Catapults just to be ready.

What we know of the world:

The border area here is interesting, not too much tension yet.

Gavagai settled the southern part of the largest inland sea island. It's well defended with an archer, axe and spear. We could take it away from him. Not worth it though.

Truckin is one of the cities Gavagai took. The path around the smaller inland sea is a great second attack vector for knights or horse archers.

Core:

Tombola is recovering from the pop 2 whip and 2 turns of starvation. With +10 food that shouldn't take too long. The river plains get cottages but worker labor is short.

Soubrette also is missing some cottages. The last river cottage is in the works but I will likely have to whip something for want of improved tiles. Could also consider just growing on bare grasslands and then whipping a forge but I think growth is fast enough that this is not necessary. So maybe a worker or a catapult.

Conurbation will also be cottaged. The greed won out.

Terrible filler city Disquisition will raise cottages for Conurbation. Will have exactly one cottage for itself.

Quaesitum was on whip duty so far. It will eventually be a decent(ish) production city. The forest gets a lumber mill.

Northern Islands:

Bonhomie, commerce city with a little bit of production.

Err, let's call it a hybrid and leave it at that.

Terraqueous is one of the candidates for secondary GP generation in a GA. It can take the food source from Disquisition for a total + 8 food which is not much. Will likely have to starve during GP generation. The other reason it is a candidate is that nothing of real value gets interupted if it starts employing a bunch of specialists. The library is questionable but maybe defendable.

Will mostly whip units, grows working the coast if there is no need for units. Could also make some GPP, I suppose. contemplate
Edit: This library is not defendable though. Not sure what I was thinking. Barracks -> pratorians would have been much better. The culture is useful at least.

Fur exploitation city. Could either whip off the coast and fish or work Lumber mills. Not sure yet.

The West:

RoadToNowhere is the border fortress which I'd like to neutralize. Would require a significant investment though.

The main GP farm. Can get up to +16 food with Civil service. Already produced the first GS Aryabhata who is hanging out in the capital right now.

Filler, production.

Will take forever to come online. Whips units initially but once the surrounding tiles are recolored to a wholesome purple it will become a decent city. Caught Confucionism in the turn after the screenshot was made which is very convenient.

South-East

Commodore keeps running around with galleys in this area. First one then later a different one I think. The defenses are thin enough that he could burn a city if there are two axes on board, maybe even with one if he gets lucky. Reinforcements are trickling in.

Andragogy would have been better placed one tile inland to work the cow immediatly. At least it is now a stronger city than it would have been. Will get cottages and work the gold (1S).

Another candidate for GPP generation. More likely it will just whip stuff at size 6/7.

Mediocre production city. Has 6 forests for a wonder or a burst of units.

Moai city. Moai is vastly overrated but FIN inland seas justify building it I'd say.

I did not consider this previously but with 2 bananas, the crab, and a bunch of 3 food tiles this city has the highest food surplus in the empire. So it will generate GPP, not in the near or even medium term though.

The newest addition. Can share the sheep and the crab. Will probably whip stuff.

Overview:

Tech pace doesn't appear to be very fast.

Tech advisor mostly shows techs people don't have. Noone has Construction, as of turn 100 no calendar resources, one player has Metal Casting and one player horseback riding. Monarchy is widely known so maybe some people have Feudalism?

Notice the trade route income. This feels like a bit too much. On the other hand it does reduce the power of FIN a bit and we do have a ton of islands.

Looks good.

Neither of our wonder cities made it into the top 5.
