I like the response, and settling on horse for a quick Chariot sounds good as well. SoLong puts Amicalola/Tarkeel in a pretty tight situation since their Scout saw the BFC stone earlier and they know Stonehenge is incoming. Unless they have a strategic in their capital BFC they're going to need to wait until T50 for the 3rd-ring copper or whip another Settler, both of which will leave them pretty vulnerable.

Thanks ![smile smile](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/smile2.gif) They could, conceivably, archer rush us - a warrior and an archer should win the city. I don't think they have archery, though.
Their power is not much higher than ours, so I think they have 1 warrior in their cap as well as the one in the city next to us. In other words, i think we are safe.
Hopefully, they don't try to bother the worker, who is chopping a forest on the border.
cap is building a quecha - will switch a settler to catch the next chop. I think the settler finishes before the quecha - I might just 2 pop whip the settler, too, I dunno.

Well, this is exciting:
If he DOWs and moves in, I'll have to move back to the city and move the worker away, which is annoying and will delay stonehenge for some turns. (I think 4). I may need to send another quecha out there.
btw - you can't see it, but the worker is chopping the forest the quecha is on. I don't know what to do if the warrior just sits there. I hope he's just paying me back for my moving next to his worker, but who knows?

No new pic - Amicalola just planted his warrior there, which is annoying as hell. The quecha is C1 and it will have a fort bonus, so if he attacks after clearing the forest, he won't have good odds, but it's risky.
I think I should have gone to improve the cow first, then gotten a 2nd quecha up before chopping the 2nd forest. I'm currently thinking I should move the worker back next turn.
In Farewell, the chop came and and will finish the quecha. I'll 2 pop whip the settler next turn, which will overflow into a 3rd quecha and then into a chariot.
The quecha just finishing will go to SoLong to help defend it.

Amicalola pulled back his warrior, so I finished the chop. Stonehenge in 4, baby!! Industrial is pretty good.
Got wheel. 2 pop whipped the settler - that should overflow about 30 hammers into a quecha and then 15 into a chariot, which isn't bad at all.
Researching pottery. Not sure what to do after - polytheism for a religion? We are going to get a priest (assuming we dont get beat to stonehenge) in a relatively short order. We could go priesthood for oracle, metal casting for collosus, or just masonry for Pyramids.

this is a conundrum:
If I plant, then that warrior can raze the city before I get over there.
I'm thinking I wait hold off until I see where he moves his warrior?

So, I chose to take a chance. But I hedged my bets a little.
I founded - pretty sure NH/Serdoa can't see the city in any case. Their power isn't so much higher than ours that I think they have an extra warrior in the area, so I moved my quecha from SoLong to where it could threaten his new city if his warrior moved away. My guess is that his warrior moves back to the fur - in any case, I doubt it moves south.
And I moved my quecha down towards my new city (called OuttaHere). OuttaHere took the corn from the cap - grows in 4. I might whip in a chariot from both it and Farewell for some stomping. Guys want to settle up on me, they gonna have to defend themselves.

I really should never take chances. They blow up in my face, usually with a warrior being 1 turn away from being able to save a city. NH moved his warrior 1 tile closer (he had one in his new city), which means that next turn he can DOW and the turn after, burn the apparently appropriately named OuttaHere.
Which means I have to whip the chariot next turn and (hopefully) take revenge on his city. I mean, I can try to kill his warrior, but it will be across a river and in the woods, so 2.2 vs 3.5, which is terrible odds.

He DOW'd last turn, so has the 2nd half.
My guess is that he goes to the woods. Then, I'll have about a 10% chance or so (I'm guessing) to kill him - if so, his invasion is a disaster.
My guess is that he's hoping to choke me out, so he can get his copper online and kill me. But I got a chariot, so that will be difficult. I might be able to kill his city (I might not, too)
Stonehenge finishes next turn.
