[Spoilers - AT PB56] Whipping unhappy faces until El Grillo's morale improves

There is a simple thing - never leave a city empty. How hard is that, AT? I mean, seriously.

Though, given what he's doing, it looks like planting was the right thing, since it allowed me to get a chariot out. I just should have had the quecha down there. 1 turn off, dammit.

He moved his warrior onto the forest. I attacked (at 4.5% odds) and....

died, obviously wink

I moved the chariot into view. That might (or might now) change his mind. He's not going to be able to cut off my metal, unless I get extremely unlucky and with stonehenge finishing.

amicalola is bringing another warrior up. 2 warriors vs 1 fortified quecha on a hill with a 20% culture is bad odds, but it's worrisome. How am I in a 2 on 1 on turn 46?

NH did burn OuttaHere - maybe not the best name for a city wink

I killed his warrior. He has 2 more on the way (which is a good sign, because it means that copper may be his only one, which means I can maybe screw him over).

Farewell will expand borders in 3 turns, bringing MY copper into the city limits, so that's good.

SoLon pops borders next turn, which starts putting pressure on Amicalola's city - also, gets visibility into NH's.

Amicalola settled a 2nd city at us. So, now I have 3 cities settled in my direction, I've had one burned and I'm being actively attacked. What the hell, man? Hopefully, the land to the north is empty and we can claim it without issue.

I have 2 more quecha that will get built in the next 2 turns . Basically, the only thing I worry about from NH are spears at this point- well, I guess chariots aren't good.

Well, this will be a short-lived game.

We can get a 2nd quecha, maybe 1 3rd, into SoLong, but we aren't getting archery in time to save the city. Unless I can get the chariot up there.

One question:

How did NH's city get to size 2? It just expanded borders, so it's only been there for 5 turns. I guess that fogged tile is A) in the borders of another city and B) has food?

Which means that BOTH NH and amicalola basically expanded in our direction.

NH et. al. took your OuttaHere, SoLong, and Farewell quite literally lol choose your next naming scheme wisely wink

Yeah, I fully accept the blame on that front duh

Not that it makes me feel any better at all, but I did kind of predict this happening with the three of us laid out like this. If it's any consolation, I trust that they'll finish the job and eliminate us quickly between the two of them.

They might. They might not.

We have a quecha coming into SoLong next turn. And we'll have one from the cap going in the turn after.

And we have the chariot. A chariot will attack an axe over a warrior and will get good odds on it, so if the chariot can kill the axe or hurt if very very badly, then I feel like we have a good chance to keep SoLong.

We expand to get copper in a couple of turns and we get archery in 5.

If we can survive and whip an archer into SoLong, the attack will fail. Copper will allow us to fight back. Stonehenge, in the mean time, gives both of them massive problems.

I don't know that I LIKE our odds, but I think it's not completely hopeless.

NH showed up with a chariot in his forward city, so I guess that's that. Not that he has a chariot, but that he will likely have multiple chariots soon. I can maybe beat an axe and 2 warriors. I can't beat an axe, 2 warriors and a chariot - he'll use the chariot for cover for the axe.

What's interesting is that SoLong will autoraze if taken (never been size 2). I feel like I should just leave it size 1 and keep anyone from getting stonehenge. agree?
