If you declare on India with units on the same tile, your units get teleported towards your closest city. And their units get teleported to their closest city if they declare on you. But you don't have to declare on India to attack Romali units that share a tile together.

That's interesting. They will likely declare war next turn.
So we have 10 hours to decide what to do. Personally, my first thought was to simply retreat the stack to the northern forest tile for defense. We could go next to Timbuktu on the hill but we won't be able to take a combined army of India and Romali with the stack we have.
Now what to do about the southern stack - put it in Walata or Gao? Hm ...

Still got some time...
What would happen if we left our stack in place? Then India must move before attacking us and we get the defense bonus from the hill. We won't be caught between two fires then.
Or we can dig-in in Gao and take the island cities out first with minimal units.

If we move on the hill, we not only are still under direct fire from India's stack, but we also face Dantski's stack.
EDIT:
After some long discussion with Nakor, I declared war on India and our stack teleported to the "safety" of Walata, where we have a handful of city garrison troops. The bad news about Walata is that due to the geography of the map, the mountains prevent our units from moving from Walata to Gao. Nonetheless, I hope our move is a bit unpredictable.
I also did some heavy whipping. We are going to lose the war so I am going to whip every city as much as I can, trying to obey the "put a turn of production in a unit before whipping" rule.

Hey, guys, when youdeclared war on Spullla and your units teleported, did you still have movement on the teleported units?

Don't think so, but I should ask DMOC. We didn't move them, if that's what you're afraid of regarding the rules.

oh, no, not worried about the rules. Just can't remember if you kept movement or not.
