Even when you're on the same side of a turn split you should (usually) still observe a split with your team mate, just in case, so it doesn't really matter which position Amicola grabbed, 3-way splits do sometimes slow things down.
I still haven't heard the guidelines that you want us to use instead of the ones in pitboss etiquette. Or are you just grumbling that they aren't perfect? (No argument from me there, and I'm genuinely interested if you have a different system that you think will work better.)

I haven't heard of anyone observing a 3-way split when there are two people attacking the same person unless they are actively attacking the same city or something similar, which I don't think applied in this case. Right now for example civac and Gira/mackoti are in the second half against Jowy, per the tech thread. I'm saying that an overall idea of "minimizing friction" should be applied over anything specifically listed. That is what I told Mjmd in 54 and he hit me back with "I'm bloody right because it says attacker chooses the turn split, and I'm the attacker."
Noted about the market and Currency. I forget about that because I don't think about building markets until much later usually.
Some earlier foreign events that I neglected to mention.
1) civac bulbed Mathematics with a Scientist on t92 and then finished the Pyramids on t93.
2) Mjmd also bulbed Mathematics on t95 or so.
3) Lazteuq launched a Golden Age as soon as we agreed to peace.
Bulbing Classical techs with GPs is interesting and merits a brief discussion. The normal time to use a bulb is Medieval-Renaissance, when techs cost in the 1k-2.5k range because bulbs give 1k-1.7k beakers or so. So bulbing a Classical tech is a big waste on the surface. However I've come to realize that it's also very important to look at how many turns of tech your bulb is giving you, and that can be more important than the absolute number of beakers. In this case players were teching extremely slowly and the Math bulb may have been worth about 20t of research for civac and Mjmd. Compared to a full-value Renaissance bulb which may only be 10t of research, it can be better when looked upon from that perspective. Of course, from that might arise the question of why your economy is so poor, but sometimes that is necessary based upon conditions imposed by the map.

I've just conceived of an idea for a hopefully innovative Werewolf game! Hopefully I'll have time to run one in the next few months, but the idea needs fleshing out and it will have significant risks because there may be a number of newly introduced game mechanics that could backfire horribly. On the other hand it may offer some measure of mitigation for some of the common issues such as deadline time unfairness.
If any WW veterans are interested in helping me brainstorm and flesh out the idea and game mechanics (and have absolutely no chance of playing in the game, because I do prefer as many players as possible), let me know.

And Charriu wonders why I said I wouldn't play another game.
Or perhaps the "mutual military struggle modifier" also applies to these humans, instead of the opposite as you'd expect?

Well I just wanted to know which aspect of RB players hadn't changed over the years that lead to you no longer playing?

I just realized we have sugar at Explore that we could have plantationed like fifteen turns ago.
