Im sorry SD  , but my main purpose of dedlurking is either helping someone and learning from him.
Im sorry to say this but.... I dont understand some of your memes because of my lack of english knowledge and my spanish culture that seems to be a bit diferent

Signups are closed with 24 players, and votes are locked.
I have made an effort to regularize the votes cast when possible. That is added as a second sheet to the Google doc. - clear winners: random pool selection, emperor difficulty, no war weariness, map trading allowed, no score, no city trading, no events, the usual
- close calls (recounts permitted
 ): spies allowed for scouting wins 9 against 8; city count not tied to espionage wins 10 to 9, although I fail to understand why, when everybody wanted no score 
- unclear: We have 7 votes for no barbs, 7 for normal barbs, 5 for barbs but without cities and without ships, and 5 for barbs but only without ships. So the majority of players clearly wants at least some barbs, but also some restrictions. The question is whether to allow cities or not, because that is evenly split. So I guess we leave it to Lewwyn? Yes to cities, but they spawn with MGs?
- map: this is the most difficult to quantify, and I fear Lewwyn will just have to go through the different opinions and then make the map he wants us to play on. I think it's safe to say that we want the map to have relevant bodies of water, and most likely at least more than 1 continent. I also made an average of all the votes that included a number of desired tiles per player, counting the 120+ votes as 130, and arrived at 113. I hope everybody can live with that if Lewwyn takes it as a rough guideline.
There was one player, joshybravo963, who posted votes on settings, but never signed up in this thread. For disclosure, he did sign up to the forums, and PM'ed me a few days ago asking why I had set his setting vote to unconfirmed. I wrote him several PMs asking to post here, even linking the thread, but he hasn't appeared yet. He appears interested, but I am wary of signing up somebody to this game who seems to have trouble using an internet forum, as that is sort of required to participate. MY last 2 PMs from Wednesday/Thursday have been left unanswered. If somebody knows him maybe you can have a chat to clarify this, and if Lewwyn is still ok with including him at the time I think we could accept a late signup.

Yes.
Barbs I think will be ON no ships or cities. That is the most middle and least high variance option.
I think the goal for the game was am end of Feb/start of March start? Joshybravo I'll give a couple days to. I plan on starting to roll after Joshybravo confirmation.
JoshyBravo you have 2 days to confirm your sign up in this game by posting in this thread. If you don't post in the thread we can't be sure you are actually playing.

Hello, you guys can call me Josh, Im in love with this game, I think its far better than civ 5 or 6. I wish more people would play it! When I saw the sign-up I was really excited to begin my first multiplayer experience, however I have never used a forum or thread before so I don't really know what I need to do! I thought I already signed up, but apparently not, hopefully it's not too late for me to join the game. Please teach me how to use this thread
