sunrise asked me to tell you he's picking up his wife and new daughter (details forthcoming) from the hospital today and expects to finally be home and in front of his civ PC around 5:00pm. PBEM turns and server issues should be resolved then. Thanks for your patience!

Welcome back mate. Unfortunately, i think that you're totally wrong in this matter. Just before you left we were on a roll and getting through the turns at a decent pace. Your absence seems to have killed people's spirit for the game again. Not that this is your fault of course, i appreciate you have always played your turns promptly.

Guys, this is getting silly again. We all signed up under the impression we would play a turn a day. We all have our specific time slots and i know that multiple people go outside of those time slots to ensure the turns get played. PLEASE make a conscious effort to grab the turn and play it as early as you can. It's a vicious circle because the longer one person takes to play, the more annoyed with the game the others become- which means they play their turn slower thru checking their email and making themself available less and it spirals out of control. Let's take this game by the scruff of the neck and get some turns done?

Would anyone be interested in a 'blitz' session where we are all online at a set time and try to get thru a whole load of turns at once?

Hm. My game's crashed three times on me when I try to check the Demogs screen. Everything works perfectly fine. Save sent, as well. Anyone else having trouble with Demogs?

Yeah, when I try to get into the demographics, the game freezes up on me. Twice now. No idea why.

My guess is it's some bug from the NoScore Mod version we're using; despite having spent enough EP, I never saw the graphs of someone I'd made contact with, but until today could see my own graphs & the Rival Average numbers.

Yes, I had that same bug with the graphs. Not sure why this freezing bug popped up all of a sudden, though.

I guess if it persists, the worst it will do is leave us all the more blind . . . .

I would be up for this if it meant we played more than a turn a week.

Also Cull, since you have regular difficulties playing the save, could you consider teaming up with somebody else who can help you out a bit. I understand you are overseas at present and involved in several RB games, so this might ease some of the burden for you. Or at the very least can you please explain why you think the turns aren't getting through as fast as we would have hoped (so we are all on the same page)? Thanks.

I also have the demo issue. I'm OK with it if it's affecting everyone, but it's sort of a new no+score+1 situation so if someone has a fix to propose I'm fine with that too.

The turn is with Kylearan. I've been filling in for the past week, but I'm now away from my Civ computer until Monday night. Kylearan is due back sometime Sunday or Monday.

I don't remember if I checked demographics or not on my last turn; if I did there was no freeze or error.
