[Spoilers] TheArchduke will peacefully build Seowons as Korea

From the livestream:
Maya Maya was slow to develop thanks to their flatlands bias. So they get free workers? Do they get a 2nd free worker from Ancestral Hall. I think I will open a balance thread for civ soon. There actually are already 2 good versions that I saw, one of them civplayer. Khmer The bonuses to population are actually funny, I remember when 1 pop = 1 science and when they nerfed that to force people to build overpriced buildings and use cards. Hmpf, more of the same stupidity.
So every Khmer city with a Prasat is getting effectively +.8 culture per pop. It's a shame the temple is otherwise so limited in usefulness, but since Faith can do anything these days the Khmer could viably go for a huge faith heavy strategy - every holy site will provide growth (food), production (faith+possibility of work ethic), amenities, and culture. Plus they're not BAD at anything else, really. The high pop lets you have extra districts and you really only need size 7 cities to get your campuses and harbors/commercial hubs down.
Monumentality through the early ages (not quite as effective as Russia since you don't get holy sites half off), then build the GMC in the medieval and use your faith to buy soldiers and go aconquerin'. It seems like a really viable civ.

@Chevalier
I actually think Khmer was decent enough without a buff, I loved to play them in SP. @civac Not sure I get the question. @Woden 2 workers is a bit much I would say, but what do I know.:D
So here's a question...Does the free builder open up the choice of first level GP building?
After all, why does Maya want to spam settlers that get larger negative percentage modifiers....?
Khmer was stupidly broken indeed. I hit size 15 by turn 100 and then size 20 less than 20 turns later. Every holy site gave around +8 faith/8 food/8 production, 4 housing, an amenity, faith to surrounding farms, and my large cities generated 80% of their population in culture. I didn't bother with monuments or theater squares and I still had 4x the culture of the AI.
