Piccadilly killed my warrior with an axe, but didn't accept peace after. I guess we're doing a proper war huh? Putting that aggressive trait to use.

do you have copper or horse hooked in time to prevent an axe rush?

Yup, horses are ready, copper in a few.
Killed his scout this turn. No enemy units in sight yet, apart from the old warriors.

He invaded, but now he's running away. I could catch his stack, but there are forests all the way to his city. Sorry about the boring war, I am just as disappointed

I expected to be behind for taking the casual approach to this game, but I'm way more behind than I thought I'd be
Finally got some cities down. Just 1 more for the mainland (fish and wheat spot). Focusing on islands first would have been best if playing seriously.
I'm kinda surprised the islands haven't all been taken yet with how long I've ignored them, so I guess I'll have to go for them myself.
I'm hopefully getting Judaism in 2T (for shrine shenanigans on a big map). Also I wanted Masonry anyway for Pyramids. Stone getting hooked up when Silent pops borders next turn.
I don't know if I'll get it, but it would be fun if I did, since I went for fewer but larger cities approach.
Also to go along with the large cities plan, I want to save as many grassland plain forests as I can for lumbermills.

Got Judaism and the holy city went to the best place:
Also got two free spreads on the founding turn. I revolted for the happiness.

Cornflakes warned me about Piccadilly attacking with HA's. I was already on military mode due to low power compared to neighbors, but now I definitely have to go 100%.

Well Piccadilly just sent me a message about declaring. This will go badly, but at least I'll be free of this game soon.
