Hello Black Sword, feel free to give your thoughts and advice whether I ask for it or not. I am more experienced with standard BTS than this mod. I just looked at my start and it looks great. Settle in place probably. I am a fan of the charismatic, protective, and industrious traits, so I will probably pick Churchill or De Gaul. As for civs, the new Germany looks really interesting.

So I picked Churchill of Germany. Right now the plan is to expand and build up infrastructure while researching towards Chemistry and Steel to then start expanding with Riesengarde and Cannons.

What are your thoughts about the other players civ/leader combos?

Cyrus of Rome stands out as the best pick to me. Hannibal of Mongolia could be good but I think Keshiks are barely better than regular horse archers. Catherine of Mali is the ultimate expansion combo, but not very useful once the expansion is over.

I moved the scout to scout for sea resources. Settle in place was an easy decision. I started with a work boat and farming.

(I had some trouble adding a picture to this thread as it kept saying my picture file was too big.)

I've generally found it easiest to upload images to an external host like imgur or dropbox or google photos, then embed with the [ screenshot ] tag.

Easier but long-term more problematic. Someday the story will loose its content.

On the other hand I do not know how much effort the RB Admins put into backups, etc.
And the outdated restriction on one upload field made the upload of multiple images complicated.

That's why I settled on using google photos, linked to a personal account I made specifically for RBCiv. The upload process is a little messy but it means I don't have to worry about the images disappearing any time soon.
