Pitboss simultaneous turns behavior is slightly different than normal single player sequential. I never delay tech selection anyway, but I have heard that in pitboss you need to select the tech a turn earlier, or it auto-selects at the end of T5.

The founding of Gloomhaven by Catherine the Great of Mali!
It was a pretty obvious SIP. I'm going to walk Scout SW, then NW or NE then onto the Grasslands Hill NW of current location.
.... I was not expecting the riverside rice or the Grasslands Forest Hill Sheep, lemme tell you. The latter is a 4/2/1 tile.

The best co-op game I've ever played. It's apparently a bit fiddly in the physical version (Sullla can talk more about that), but I've played it purely on TTS. It's just a very well made, very fun combat tactics puzzle. Players are powerful and have options (my typical complaint about co-op games is that actions tend to feel very scripted, although avoiding analysis paralysis is also important), but the game has good difficulty scaling options to work against that. The core loop is very fun, the player resource management is a very cool idea. Your cards in hand act as your stamina and a timer on how long you can be in the dungeon. The game takes a bit for people to get used to, but once the group gels and people understand mechanics, most scenarios take in the realm of 1-2 hours. The expansions are a bit more experimental and I found them to be a bit less enjoyable and a bit less replayable feeling, I might talk about them, separately.

I've found Imgur to be one of the better options, but others use dropbox.

I use external file hosting (imgur, then google photos) and then the [ screenshot ] tag.

I wrote the text first and add text marks for the images first.
Then I upload the images with the forum software (unfortunately just one at the same time) and finally hit the button "Add into post" behind the first attachment name.
This text snipped can be copied to the other image locations. Increment the attachment id et voila…

Nice. a city 1S or 2S of the rice could be an option. 1 is better for cottage helping, but you don't want to leave that supersheep waiting is it confirmed that the pasture does not chop the forest, same as a camp?. If you want to settle one ring further out to reap the benefits of Cre, we probably want to go west as foodsharing is so important early.

I was planning on waiting on dotmapping until at least t3 when borders expand + I'll have scouting reports from the west.
That's a good thing to have tested, though, and you do have to remove the forest to pasture. Ah well, it's a bit less crazy of a tile than I thought, then.

I checked in the Worldbuilder because I was curious as well: the forested sheep hill has a natural yield of 2/2 and then when improved with a pasture it goes to 4/2/1 yield. (Sheep are weaker than cows and pigs since the pasture adds that one commerce instead of an additional food or production.) Between the sheep and the wet rice tile that popped up, this feels like a start where it's better to go with Hunting into (cheap) Agriculture and then double prerequisite Animal Husbandry. All of those techs are going to be needed and I don't think that Bronze Working for whipping or chopping comes out better than simply improving that awesome 2/4 plains hill cattle tile. Still a few more turns of exploring before having to make a decision with Hunting research finishing but that feels like the ideal opening based on current information.

Sadly, you can't get the 4/2/1 yield in reality, since you can't start a pasture without removing the overlaying forest (similar to naturally occurring jungled pigs). The interface recognizes this too, like if you try to build a plantation on a forested or jungled tile.

Yeah, the sheep is a 4/1/1 tile. You have to chop the forest to improve it.
