Uh, guys, I don't feel good about this...
That's a lot of time.

So the turn began weird, spammed by like five screens of this:
...followed by an "accept our offer" screen with them merely offering 10gpt. This seems a little light, so let's see what's going on. Still two turns minimum until I'm ready for a pants-down Caste Golden Age anyway.
Civac just hit my top wellie with his wellie. Okay, I'll take the hill then and let's look at how things go next turn.
I'm aware of the danger of an Engineering bulb yes.
Dismayingly, Civac is sharp and did see the threat in the south. Earthsea is covered by archer/axe/warrior and two chariots, too, so because I didn't load HA into galleys I don't have that pressure. I'm going to continue on south along the ridge-road and look at a 3-way fork while mobile units are added to the fleet.
Unfortunately, I think he's holding this despite his lack of catapults, the sheer weight of power is against me without Gav or SD joining in.
It's okay. In the end it's geopolitics. Going to be fun to weather the Inevitable Knight Swarm up next.

Scary stuff ahead, I decided I'd take a 10gpt peace treaty if reoffered...
Ginger still owes me 200gp. Once I get that, we're solid.
I know some of you might want me to go fishing, but Amicalola has a hilarious amount of army here:
It's not crazy, those two cities are 30gpt in bonus trade just by themselves. I'm magnanimously ceding him those islands until Optics and Gunpowder at least.

Going Compass->Optics next, because I just showed Ginger how vulnerable he is over water so I'm completely confident he'll want to get his own caravels. Engineering after that for castles and pikes. I'd love some economy investment, but that was what we had for CoL and Monotheism. Ginger is going to be an existential threat unless I can outscale him.

In 15 turns, he has knights and caravels, including some double-promo ship options with that Dune GG. As always, the zeroest of sum games is naval fights.
